Hey everyone,

A huge thank you to all my supporters your support makes this all possible!

Things are starting to get very busy on my end. I'm trying to juggle a few different things so I'll be working a little slower for the next week. But I hope to pick up the pace soon!

I've been working on a fun way to have battles popup. I have tried about 4 different ideas. My current favorite is that a ghost will "appear" fly towards you and dissapear if it didn't reach you in time. If it catches you, or you catch it, a combat will begin!

I want to create the concept that combats are optional but still somewhat random. If you're keen to run past an area you could avoid combats without too much difficulty.  I also like the small chance that one might catch you by supprise.

This also gives me the abilty to use the same "popup" system if I need a forced combat. That is a ghost could move to fast to escape.

Another idea I've been toying with is if your character becomes too tired you can't outrun the gosts or it becomes harder to avoid them. I'm not 100 percent because it punishes you when your on low health. Buuut maybe your character can't run if they are waddling....

Anyway that's just some of the ideas/concepts I've been working on. This weekend is going to be a little hectic but I hope to get some time to work on a bunch of small fixes.

I'll be going a little slower than I like but I'll still be plugging away! I'll run a little pol the next devlog to see how people feel about different ways combat can happen!
