The next step (Patreon)

Hey everyone, a huge thank you to all my supporters.
So the demo was pretty successful! A few bugs but nothing too unexpected. I spent this week doing a little bit of bug fixing and cleaning up some code. Unfortunately a few of the bugs don't have easy answers. I'm going to do a little more research on some better fixes.
So what is the next phase?
As I mentioned before the next major update is going to be the integration of an inventory.
I'm going to be working on allowing you to hold/save and use items. This update should also include the basic infrastructure for a "shop keeper" inventory type, so you can buy items.
Part of this system will be transforming clothing/diapers/glasses into inventory items rather than character customisation. That way you can change outfits, get new outfits and swap whenever you want to.
I'm also hoping to fold a "status" system into this same basic screen. This status will include things such as if your character needs a change. With any luck I might be able to create the basis for the "stats" your character will have in game-play.
The basic UI infrastructure was created in a previous update so I have a good starting point. But there is a fair amount of work to make it easy enough for everyone to use.
So my current plan is to jump right in and see what I can get working. I'll see how it goes and then in a week give you all an update on progress and by then I should have a rough idea how long it will take to get it in for another demo (although I think it will be quicker than last time).
The second thing is I want to start experimenting with a way of "playing" with objects.
This was an idea from one of the patrons. I have no idea on how this might work. But I'd love to create something that would let you roll around and play in a nursery. But in a way that would let you interact with any item without having to create a whole new animation for each item. I just want to take some time to experiment with a few different ideas.
Just something to give the ABDL elements a little more authenticity and allow you to enjoy being in a giant virtual nursery.
So that's what I'm planning on working on for the moment.
My next devlog is going to focus on my plans for the next demo as well as an idea on an ability tree design.
Again a huge thank you all for supporting this project. Things are going really well and I'm super excited that I'm starting to add some features that will really help you feel like you can interact with the world!
