Update: Laptop and Finance (Patreon)

Hey, it’s been a while. There are some new people here and I’d like to personally say “Welcome and thank you!” This isn’t the type of content you pledged for unfortunately, however this is the biggest crisis I’ve faced yet.

As of right now as I’m making this post, I’ve been trying to get my laptop to working order ever since it crashed on me this morning. My biggest fear currently is not being able to recover any drawings (that includes the comms) I’ve made. Basically, I don’t want to lose any progress I’ve made. And I definitely don’t want to lose the Demon Slayer manga. 

Recently, I’ve been able to draw without any problems only after many startup attempts. But now I‘m thinking it’s better to move my files onto a hard drive so I don’t lose anything. My laptop is scaring me because a week ago, I completely lost a drawing due to corruption of the file after my laptop suddenly crashed. But it’s so difficult now that my laptop doesn’t respond well anymore. 

If you‘ve been following me on Twitter, I’ve complained about my situation and had some help from some awesome friends there to troubleshoot my problems. And you know that I’m running a WG Drive at the moment to help fund a new PC. However, I can’t make people throw money at me, I can only hope that they could spare some change. I was able to get some generous donations (you know who you are) and to them, I absolutely in awe of them. Truth be told, I was really banking on the WG Drive. I was even going out of my way to keep posting about my paypal so people can take it to consideration. It’s not the correct way to go about it, I’ll admit. I thought about taking commissions, but with how my Laptop is currently, I don’t think I can and honestly, It would be counterintuitive. I have a goal, but I don’t have the means anymore.

Twitter is of no concern as I’m more concerned about you guys my Patrons, hence why I’m making this post. So, currently, I’m thinking of going to look for a job. I’ll maybe start tomorrow though I’m not sure if I’ll be even hired due to the pandemic currently.

I’m stumped for now. I want to ask you guys; What should I do now? Is there another way? How do I go about things now? Is getting a job my best bet? I don’t know, but I don’t want to lose anything I‘ve done up til now. I need your advices guys. Which direction should I go?
