Since a few of you have expressed interest on checking out my new D&D script, I figured I'd just make a post about it here! So here's the link.

Feel free to leave notes on the google doc for anything that you think is uninteresting or needs to be changed. Or if something is very good!

Here are my concerns:

  • Firstly, it's long. It's going to be like 45 minutes again, and I'd rather it be half that time. So if that means cutting out a LOT of stuff, I'm cool with that. Be brutal! I just wrote and wrote and I feel like a lot of stuff is probably uninteresting.
  • I'm worried I simultaneously spend too much time talking about Dimension 20 while also not really selling it well to people. So if you've never seen the show, let me know if it sounds interesting to you. If you have seen the show, let me know if I did a good job or if I should add stuff.
  • Part 3 of the video has most of the interesting stuff while also having what are probably the most boring parts. So heavy edits are expected there.
  • I'm also just worried that none of this is interesting at all. It's just my personal story, and nothing about it is particularly unique or interesting, imo. But I love D&D and I love Dimension 20 and I just wanted an outlet to talk about stuff I love right now. Not sure if I did a good job of making the video worthwhile in general.

So let me know about all of those points. I want to make this shorter, tighter, and as interesting and fun as it can be! I appreciate the help! Also, the title is just tentative. I will probably change it.

Dungeons & Dragons is Amazing, and Here's Why

INTRODUCTION So, we find our heroes in a tavern. The dim glow of a few sparse candles fills the room with an atmosphere that is both cozy yet ominous. As you sit there waiting expectantly for excitement, a disheveled hooded figure bursts into the scene and calls you to adventure.

Uneducated & Enthused

Honestly, I have no critique to give of this even after a second read-through. It’s a fantastic read, is so clearly in your voice, and is so full of passion and openness. But most importantly, even on a second perusal, the Set-Up/Pay-Off of the d6 is still hilarious to me
