Greetings, new Patrons! Greetings, old Patrons! Greetings anyone else who is somehow reading this. 


I wanted to give you a sneak peak at a new show I literally just thought of last night called Alter Ego. It's all about names and language and all kinds of nerdy goodness. This is one of the first episodes in audio form. Let me know what you think!

Sounds good. All of it. To be honest, one of the reasons I like your channel is that I agree with much of what you have to say. I wasn't going to bring this up, but I used to be a professional voice-over artist. I only stopped because of all of the competition involved. I could send you my demo if you are interested. Just a thought.

Out of ambition, and pure boyish questioning, may I 'audition' to host this show? I think the whole etymological aspect would be a nice pairing with my 'radio voice.' Idk, I'm an overzealous person who has ideas of success through vague friendship. Can't blame a guy for trying. I'm still gonna ask anyway because why not?

You would have to genuinely be passionate about the subject of words and language enough to do your own thorough research, and you'd need to take care of all the editing. Basically, you'd have to earn it since I'm not the kind of person who believes in success through connections.

I actually am really passionate about words. If you asked any of my close friends or family, they would know how much vocabulary is an ancillary part of who I am. It seems like if i setup my own camera, which i can do, it'd be an easy edit, and I am the kind of person who spent 3 days straight researching etymology for the perfect character names. Words fascinate me, and I don't believe in success through connections, i believe that connections can shape it. I have ideas of the possibility, and the 7 year old inside me telling me its possible, but I still know that I can and will strive for things, rather then hoping for it to happen. In all seriousness, I really do think i'm the candidate for this new show.
