Marvel Studios has a pattern in a majority of their movies where they pretend to kill off important characters. By the end of the movie, everyone's fine again! Whether it's Agent Coulson being stabbed, Nick Fury being shot, Iron Man being... whatever happened to him, or even Loki being sucked into an abyss twice, the characters can never seem to stay dead.
