With Marvel spotlighting Hawkeye in Avengers: Age of Ultron, and DC's Arrow headed towards its fourth season, I'm curious about why superhero archers appear to be pretty popular these days. Is there a secret behind the success of Oliver Queen, Clint Barton, or other comic book characters who fight with bows and arrows?
