Okay, so a bit of context for this one. AOA debuted as an 8 member group back in 2012. They had a unit that was a normal idol girl group, and a unit that was a full band - they would play the same songs in different ways, as well as individual songs. The band unit was called AOA Black. The drummer left to focus on her studies and so AOA dropped the band unit entirely. They formed another subunit later on out of members Hyejeong, Yuna and Chanmi, called AOA Cream, which had the song Jelly Baby, performed here. For this round on Queendom, member Seolhyun was unavailable (she's a mega-celebrity in her own right outside of her work as an idol singer - she's known as the CF queen for her impact in commercials and also has been starring in dramas/films a lot lately) so they elected to do an AOA Cream song since all 3 of them were available. That left Jimin on her own. Jimin has always wanted to be a rock star - she explained that before signing to become a member of AOA (as the leader and main rapper) she was wanting to be the frontwoman of a rock band. She committed hard to her role as a rapper, though, especially after AOA Black was no longer a thing and the option to perform as a rock band was no longer one they'd be taking given their huge success with their sexy concept idol songs in 2014-15. She took part in the show Unpretty Rapstar back in 2017, where each contestant created a bunch of performances and wrote a bunch of songs for it - two of Jimin's biggest hits from that show were T4SA (Time 4 Sum Action) and Puss. The censorship in this performance is very necessary - the line in Unpretty Rapstar's version is 'I'm a motherfucking top madam'. You can imagine how shocking it is to hear an idol swear like that in a song! But she's never been one to care about how idols are 'supposed' to be, and that's part of the reason I'm such a big fan of hers, not least because she's a dope performer. The guy she performs with in this performance is Seunghyub from N.Flying - they're a band under FNC Entertainment, the same company as AOA, and had a mega-hit in Korea a couple years ago with their song Rooftop.
