Mamamoo might be my favorite girl group right now... some others are growing on me but I really love the strength of all their voices and the balance between members. Will edit after listening to the whole project with you. **(Edited after listening) Weirdly I like them as a group more than their individual songs... is that a thing? 10 Nights was a beautiful vocal performance. I just have to be in the right mood to rock with ballads. Destiny is my current favorite followed by 4x4 Ever. I definitely want to hear more whole group power harmonizing--that is usually the moments I look forward to the most and we didn't get that. So not my favorite album or collection of songs but definitely some of my favorite female voices. It gives me Jonghyun Story Op album vibes (1 and 2 and even Poet/Artist- Ace had the same kind of reaction to the last half of that project). I know they have the ability to slaughter a vocal performance but it stays in that subtle chill side- where the initial reaction is "yeah...its alright." But I also bizarrely appreciate that kind of approach. I don't need every song to knock me over instantly, I have other go to songs for that (in Jonghyun's case the whole She Is album). He taught me how to groove on the down low with his other albums, and consider music in a different light since I followed all his discussions on creating the two different approaches. It doesn't immediately stand out but they always grow on me with each listen and I usually like them more as stand alone songs then all in the same album together. (Or I'm just biased and will like anything he does no matter what....hmmm) So I shall wait and see if these fall into that category or if I still have a bit of a bland reaction even later... ...I'm kinda worried about future reactions to those Jonghyun projects now. Ahaha.

The beginning of the bridge in Better was Hwasa not Wheein. I see like most people, you can’t tell the difference when Hwasa runs up into her high notes, they sound a lot like Wheein, and so people automatically assume it’s her because their not used to Hwasa singing high. But really, the two sound very similar up in their head voices, so all I’m saying is don’t be so sure it’s Wheein sometimes.
