When they debuted you have to remember their ages. School was still in the mix. Taemin would go to school and then train till dawn, sleep a couple hours and then get up to go to school. When they debuted same schedule except you now add their appearances, MV shoots etc. It was a tough schedule.

This the episode where Taemin got his "baby cheese" nickname from Shawols lol. Also, Key did a variety show back in the day where he was learning to be a chef and he even went on to get a certificate!

As you might have noticed, all SHINee members have always babied Taemin a LOT. They will probably be 50yo and still treating him the same, and Taemin shows that side of himself when he's with them the most because of that. That's why Shawols were very excited to see how Taemin would act in SuperM, being the second oldest and most senior of the group! Turns out the younger members are still taking care of him (here's a video he uploaded on IG where Mark picked up the phone Taemin forgot at the airport and he, Ten and Lucas were waiting for him to realise lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cLywy4jRCeA)

I don't know if you seen it but after the guys cleaned up the main food and they were just sitting there talking they set out one fancy glass of wine/champaign that no one touched while they all drank out of mugs. A lot of fans think it was their way of honoring Jonghyun while reminiscing about the time that has passed.

Taemin had a hard time to begin with. He was pretty much going through puberty when they debuted so he didn't have any singing lines to begin with and one horrible person even said he was tone deaf. Supposedly he was bullied at school and SHINee walked him to class to make sure he was safe. He has worked so hard to get to where he is while staying humble, bubbly, and dreaming big. And the SHINee members have always been his biggest cheerleaders especially Jonghyun. Here is a really beautiful documentary and behind the scenes at his Budokan concert in Japan- I know you will love it, seeing more of his working professional sides. I can't really describe the immense pride I have whenever you all watch a SHINee video. They really are five people that have inspired me and to see you grow the same fondness just brings so much joy to my heart. Like someone else said before me, its more than the music now, 5HINee are amazing individuals, role models, artists. I wish nothing but happiness for them~ Thank you for the reaction!

I just wanted to briefly add as to why Key had never cooked for them before, as it sounds cold but it really isn't. First, when they all still lived together in the dorm they had a housekeeping lady that would fill their fridge with homemade food- Minho and Onew still lived there together before enlistment and Minho appeared on a program where he showed their fridge and this was still true for them. As for later, Key mentioned that he wouldn't cook because they're so comfortable with each other that if they went to his house for dinner he'd just ask them what take-out they want, since he doesn't need to impress them lol (That's why Onew said that cooking is something Key would do for BoA, since she is the idol he looks up to the most)
