It showcases his technical skills but I prefer my Onew singing with his eyes closed making me feel the emotion of the song even though I don't understand the lyrics. My favourite song is Stevie Wonder's AS, I would love to hear an Onew cover.

You can tell how powerful his voice is when he's standing so far away from the mic! Also interesting is how to get these type of sounds you don't belt it out in a traditional way...everything about it is so controlled & measured.

I grew up with classical music training and I've loved opera since I was a child. Onew's version of nessun dorma showcases his singing abilities on a very technical level but is also incredibly refreshing compared to traditional opera singing style. Not to mention that being Italian, hearing him sing in my language is also very moving, his pronunciation is so perfect that if I were to judge from this video alone I'd think he was fluent. The first time I heard this I called my entire family to listen haha!

I get goosebumps every time i watch this performance. His voice in SHINee is sorely underappreciated by non fans. He has such a unique tone and like every other member, is integral to SHINee's sound. Simply beautiful.
