No it's not lol. It's zero. PEMDAS is: Parentheses Exponents Multiplication and Division, left to right Addition and Subtraction, left to right. This is because multiplication and division are the same function. Division can just be expressed as multiplication by the reciprocal. Addition and subtraction are also the same function. Subtraction can just be notated as adding the negative value. So here for 16-8÷2(2+2) you do: 16-8÷2(2+2) 16-8÷2(4) 16-4(4) 16-16 The answer is 0. Ace got the right answer but the wrong way lol, it was just luck. Dame is getting tripped up on the 2 being next to the parentheses, but just because it's next to them doesn't mean it's treated in any special way.

many people get tripped up bc they do whats in the parenthesis (2+2) but then their brains are still telling them it's a parenthesis (4) when in reality it's just a multiplication at that point so you have to go left to right or they take the MD in PEMDAS literally and think you have to multiply before dividing not realizing it's an OR/left to right. People always take the acronym TOO literally. Regardless, these guys probably shouldn't be teaching any SAT prep classes

I think the apple/pineapple thing is just a pun or joke in Korean. They say 사과 (apple in Korean) in the question but then say 파인애플 (pa-in-ae-peul). One thing I can think of for 파 can be like 파다 which is like to dig or burrow or something, so pa-in-apple is like digging a hole in an apple? That's my best guess

I chose 20 for 10 for the cockroach question. I know it's a long time but you can mostly avoid 20 cockroaches in your place. 200 is just... They're gonna be everywhere man. You can't escape. Even for a year that's just foul.

Also worth noting that Seoyeon got every single badge in the game. Crazy dominance lol. I would have to agree. The first season of Badge War was good. S2 is one of the best idol variety shows I've seen. It legit belongs back in the 2nd gen in terms of craziness but in 2024 production quality. I love this show so much, I hope it's an annual thing.
