Chapter 10 – Knight, Flood Zone, Nomu

“Alright blondie, time to fight!” Sentō declared as he threw Aoyama away from himself. He’d carried the wannabe knight halfway down the Mountain Zone to separate him from his yellow-suited friend. Now it was time to have some fun! “You better bring your best, otherwise I’ll kill you and move on to your little friends, got it?!”

“Of course, Monsieur.” Aoyama replied, a grimace on his face before he fired his laser at the Villain.

“Get that weak shit out of here!” Sentō roared as he was once again covered in his bone-scale bio-armor. The tall man tanked the laser and was barely damaged when the beam cut off. The bio-armor was barely singed from the shot! Sentō blitzed forward and cocked back a punch, ready to take Aoyama out of the fight in one blow!

Aoyama ran, moving to the left of his opponent the blonde kept the shirtless Villain in his sights. He knew the Bio-Armor Quirk User was fast. He’d been tackled and carried down the Mountain in short order after all. But the Villain clearly wasn’t faster than his laser. That didn’t mean much when his beam couldn’t even damage his opponent though. He needed a few moments to consider his options.

“Where do you think you’re going?!” Sentō hollered as he chased the Hero Student down. “You can’t outrun me, you little shit!” It was true too. Sentō was rapidly gaining on Aoyama. In only a few moments he’d be able to tackle the teen and start wailing on him!

“I’m not just running, Monsieur, I’m planning!” Aoyama pivoted on his right foot and turned to face his foe. His turn had moved him out of the path Sentō was charging through. With a bright glow, both of his Sparkle Gauntlets lit up and fired! The twin beams slammed into the armored man and staggered him slightly. Aoyama kept the beams going for a few seconds before cutting them off. Smoke rose from Sentō as Aoyama looked on, then the man laughed.

“What was that?” Sentō questioned as he walked closer, waving off the smoke from his body. “That had some more kick to it, but still wasn’t much.” Aoyama grimaced at the slightly burnt bio-armor where his lasers had struck. How tough were those bone-scales? He didn’t get much more time to think as Sentō rushed forward. Aoyama leapt aside as Sentō dropped an axe kick on his previous location. The armored kick cracked the rock and threw up a cloud of grit!

“Triple Beam!” Aoyama called out and his Navel Laser, along with both Sparkle Gauntlets, fired at once. Sentō was pushed back from the move and eventually lost his footing. The Villain was blasted backwards several meters before Aoyama had to cut off his Navel Laser as his stomach burned with pain.

“Okay…” Sentō coughed out as his chest smoked from the attack. “I’ll admit that one actually hurt a little.” He staggered to his feet and Aoyama saw the blackened bio-armor on the Villain’s chest. Then, to the Hero Student’s horror, the damaged bio-armor fell to pieces, briefly revealing the man’s unblemished skin, before new armor quickly grew to cover the spot again. “Just a little though.” Sentō grinned manically as he rushed forward to close the distance again. Aoyama didn’t get the chance to move this time, he was shoulder tackled and sent tumbling across the rocks. His armored costume took the brunt of the damage, but the blonde was still stunned and left scrambling to get back to his feet.

“Where?” Aoyama realized he’d lost sight of his opponent as he retook his feet.

“Where are you looking?!” Sentō demanded as his armored leg crashed into Aoyama’s side. The teen went rolling from the kick, his costume now dented and pressing up against his side uncomfortably. The Villain didn’t let up as he chased the blonde and proceeded to kick him again and again. Aoyama now knew what it was like to be a soccer ball! His armored costume was becoming more and more dented and the teen was starting to have trouble taking a full breath! In desperation he fired his ‘Triple Beam’ again. The beams struck various parts of Sentō’s body and made the brutal kicking stop.

“Focus, I need to focus…” Aoyama breathed as he adjusted his Sparkle Gauntlets.

“Too slow dipshit!” Sentō roared as he came in with a devastating haymaker. The Gauntlets fired off again, though the beams were thinner and more focused now. The difference was immediately noticeable. “ARGH!” Sentō roared in pain as the focused cutting beams cut into his Quirk and burned the skin underneath. His bio-armor held up mostly, but the thinner areas between the bone-scales had given way and been burned through down to his skin! “Fuck! You little bastard!”

“En garde!” Aoyama drew his Sparkle Saber, the energy quickly humming to life as it filled in the cutting edge of the blade. He knew how to get through the bio-armor now! It couldn’t handle the intense heat of his cutting lasers! He slashed at Sentō and the Villain raised his armored arms to block. This proved to be a bad idea as burning pain spread through his arms!

“Fuck!” Sentō cursed as he jumped backwards to get out of the energy blade’s range. Glancing at his arms showed his Quirk missing some bone-scales and the skin beneath an angry, bubbling red. That wasn’t good.

“Range is my specialty, Monsieur!” Aoyama declared as he lifted his left arm and fired his focused Sparkle Gauntlet at the Villain. Sentō hissed in pain as the cutting laser left a line from his stomach to his left shoulder before he could get out of the way. The damaged bone-scales fell away but weren’t replaced by the burnt skin that was revealed. Aoyama also noticed this anomaly of his opponent’s Quirk. Having seen how fast the bio-armor Quirk could restore itself, it didn’t take long to put two and two together. “Your Quirk doesn’t work if your skin is sufficiently damaged, does it?”

“Fuck you!” Sentō retorted while hissing at the pain of his burns. “Think you’re so fucking smart! If you didn’t have all of those toys I’d be kicking your teeth in!”

“You have no room to talk,” Aoyama kept his left Sparkle Gauntlet trained on the Villain and his Sparkle Saber in his right hand. “You have a very powerful Quirk and yet you chose the path of a Villain!”

“You don’t know shit!” Sentō spat at the teen. “Quirk Laws, Quirk Restrictions, I can’t even enjoy myself with my own damn ability! If I became another damn Hero I’d just be perpetuating this fucked up cycle! I refuse to be a part of this oppressive system! I’d sooner tear it all down and let the chips fall where they may!” The Villain rushed the Hero Student, intent to shut the blonde’s mouth for good!

He tanked the focused blast from the gauntlet with his right shoulder. Sentō knocked the energy blade to the side with his left arm, severely damaging his forearm in the process. With both weapons out of the way, he drove his armored knee into Aoyama’s breastplate! The metal caved under the force, knocking the wind out of the blonde’s lungs. As he hit the ground, Aoyama grit his teeth as he focused harder than he ever had in his life. His abdomen felt like it was on fire as his belt glowed brightly. Sentō wasn’t about to let the teen fire at him again and raised his right foot for a stomp.

Energy was faster than flesh.

A colossalbeam blasted from Aoyama’s belt and slammed into Sentō! Everything from the waist up disappeared onto the blinding flash of light. The Villain was lifted off his feet and sent ragdoll-ing through the air. He slammed down hard on the rocks several meters away. Sentō was smoking more than he’d done throughout the fight. Aoyama couldn’t even see him through the smoke rising off his chest. With a harsh cough, the blonde tried to breathe slowly. His costume was wrecked, he was lucky his belt was still functioning, though it was hot against his stomach from the overload.

Sentō was unconscious. The entirety of his bio-armor was blasted, burnt, and broken. His skin was an angry red and bubbled in a few places. He’d most definitely have scars from this fight for the rest of his life. The brawler wouldn’t be able to move on his own for quite a while after this. At least not until his body healed. Even then, the scarred areas would never be able to manifest his Quirk again. His stint as a Villain was effectively over; he’d never be ‘invulnerable’ again.

“Victory is mine… Monsieur…” Aoyama huffed as he reached for the clasps that kept his armor on. He couldn’t breathe properly in it with how banged up it was. When he managed to get the breastplate off he sighed in relief. He was bruised, he was hurting, but he was alive. He’d won and taken down a powerful Villain to boot! “Papa, Maman, I’ve done it. I can be a Hero, even with this body that’s so unsuited to my Quirk.” He was just going to lie here for a minute. Just to get his breath back. It hurt to breathe still, that probably wasn’t a good sign.

-Flood Zone-

All Izuku saw was black. He felt weightless for a bit and then gravity seemingly reasserted itself just as light reappeared. The verdette splashed down into deep water and struggled to right himself. He just barely caught the vague movements of a silhouette from the corner of his eye, when it abruptly filled his entire field of vision at an incredible speed! It was a person with a shark-like face, their massive jaws agape with razor sharp teeth poised to take a bite out of him!

‘Mutant Type, Shark Form, traits of a shark, simple enough.’ Izuku thought as he prepared to use one of his many Quirks.

“Midoriya!” Tsuyu swam in out of nowhere and delivered a powerful double kick to the Shark Form User’s face. Her long, prehensile tongue shot out and wrapped around his waist and with a powerful kick of her legs they were rocketing towards the surface. In just a few short moments, Izuku was tossed onto the deck of the fake yacht.

“For a frog… You’ve got some pretty nice boobs…” Mineta, who’d been under Tsuyu’s left arm, mumbled as he tried to rub his cheek against Tsuyu’s breasts.

In the next second Mineta was slammed onto the ship’s deck by Tsuyu’s tongue. The frog-like girl then climbed up the ship’s hull and over the railing.

“Thanks, Tsuyu...” Izuku thanked as he glanced over the edge of the boat to see over a dozen Villains in the water.

“No problem, kero. But we seem to be in trouble here, Midoriya.” Tsuyu mentioned, looking over the edge as well.

“Yeah, they said they're here to kill All Might, right?” Izuku commented as he looked over the group of Villains in the water.

“B-but there’s no way, right? He'll thrash 'em once he gets here!” Mineta made a few punching motions as if to mime All Might.

“We don't know that for sure. If they organized an operation this big they might have a way to kill him. Not to mention that warp Villain said that they were going to kill all of us too.” Izuku shook his head as he thought over what little information they had.

“I agree. Otherwise why come all this way, just to get beaten?” Tsuyu concurred as the Villains circled the fake yacht.

“That damn brat! I'll kill her!” The harsh voice of the shark villain was heard as he resurfaced.

“There's a whole school of them! We're gonna die!” Mineta screamed in panic.

‘These guys are all suited for aquatic combat… That means they knew about the USJ's layout… But they warped Asui here, who's perfect in this zone… So it's likely that they don't know about our quirks…’ Izuku was mentally putting the pieces together to try and figure a way out of their current situation.

Tsuyu and Mineta watched as Izuku scanned the villains with a quick glance and then looked at both of them for a moment. The verdette was clearly thinking quickly and neither of them was sure of they should interrupt him. If Izuku was thinking up ways to safely get them out of this situation they wanted to give him the time he needed. But they also really wanted to know what he was thinking too!

“Midoriya? Are you okay?” Tsuyu asked a moment later, concern in her voice.

“Yeah, I think I might know get us out of this mess.” Izuku came out of his thoughts and planning.

“How can we possibly fight, dumbass?! These guys might be even tough enough to kill All Might!” Mineta continued to panic. “If these guys might be able to kill All Might, then our best option is to hide and wait for the U.A. Heroes to come rescue us!”

“We don’t have a place to hide though.” Tsuyu pointed out the fact that they were surrounded and stuck on the fake yacht.

“These guys also haven’t tried to climb onboard the boat.” Izuku motioned to the encircling Villains. “That means they’re best suited to aquatic combat, or their Quirks might literally require them to be in direct contact with water to work. We can take advantage of that.”

A blast of water rocked the fake boat and nearly split it in two! The three teens held onto the railing for dear life as the waves rocked and the boat cracked more. Water gushed into the newly opened hull and began filling the boat. Their platform was sinking! Izuku looked over the side to see who’d attacked them.

“I’m getting sick of waiting!” A man that looked like a cross between human and fish stated. “Let’s hurry up and end this!” Izuku noticed that water was surrounding the man’s arm and his Analysis ability kicked in and rapidly dissected the information available.

‘Tactile Hydrokinesis, Emitter, as long as he’s touching the water he can freely manipulate it. Including making it surge powerfully enough to split this boat in two!’ Izuku blinked, his Analysis had never been so quick before! Had…had it progressed? Did that splitting headache from the two multi-Quirk anomalies force his Quirk to progress in its Analysis aspect? Izuku shook his head, those were questions for later! He watched as the water surrounding the Villain’s arms swelled and surged. He was going to launch another attack like that?!

The surging wave came at the boat again, but this time slammed against something different! A translucent, green wall formed between the boat and the wave of water. It was a perfect square at six meters high and six meters wide. The water splashed against the barrier and fell back into the large pool harmlessly. Tsuyu, Mineta, and even the Villains all blinked at the sudden appearance of the barrier. It was Tsuyu that first noticed the hand Izuku was holding out. A green glow surrounded the outstretched hand and Izuku was exhaling loudly.

“Midoriya?” Tsuyu tilted her head slightly.

“Barrier, it’s one of my Quirks, it can be a wall, a dome, or a sphere, but it can’t be changed once I set the form. I have to deactivate and reactivate it to change it and I can only make and maintain one barrier at a time.” Izuku quickly gave the frog-like girl the rundown on this Quirk.

“Why don’t you just surround the boat?!” Mineta wailed, tears starting to pour from his eyes.

“It’s too large.” Izuku shook his head, making Mineta scream about all of them dying.

“Mineta, are you sure you really want to be a Hero?” Tsuyu questioned the panicking, crying teen.

“Shut up!” Mineta shot back, tears pouring from his eyes. “You’re crazy for not being scared! We were just Junior High Students a few months ago! I never thought we’d be in a life-or-death situation like this! Why couldn’t I have gotten the chance to squeeze Yaoyorozu’s amazing boobs just once?!”

If it wasn’t for the life and death nature of their current predicament, Izuku would have lectured Mineta over his behavior. It would be part of his duties as the Class Representative. For now he settled for throwing a disappointed look Mineta’s way. Tsuyu didn’t limit herself to verbal actions. She slapped Mineta upside the head with her tongue. Mineta fell back on his ass and shouted at the frog-like verdette.

‘Attraction of Small Objects’, ‘Enhance Function’, ‘Amplification’, ‘Mental Boost’ Feeling the Quirks compile Izuku reached out with his mother’s Quirk and grabbed the suit of the Tactile Hydrokinetic Villain. The fish-like man squawked as he was yanked out of the water by his suit and flew towards the green-haired teen. Izuku grabbed the Villain by his face, activated the copying ability of Collector and then looked the Villain in the eyes. ‘Paralyze Glare’ struck the villain and he went limp as Izuku let go of him. The fish-like man fell back into the water and floated on the surface limply.

“The fuck did he just do?!” A Villain yelled out, seeing one of their own yanked out of the water and then dealt with instantly.

“What the hell kind of Quirk does that little shit have?” A different Villain asked the question they were all thinking.

“Tsuyu, Mineta,” Izuku turned to face his classmates, one panicking, the other looking at him and listening closely. “Follow me, we’re getting out of here!” Izuku used ‘Platform’ to create a series of the glass-like constructs. He bolted up them like they were stairs. Tsuyu simply grabbed Mineta and leapt all the way to the top platform just as Izuku reached it. “Mineta, throw your Quirk into the water! As many as you can possibly do!” Izuku ordered as he quickly compiled another set of Quirks. ‘Platform’ wasn’t incredibly durable, and each construct only lasted a short time. He had one shot at this!

‘Air Compression’, ‘Gas Manipulation’, ‘Force Multiplier’, ‘Kinetic Boost’, ‘Energy Burn’, ‘Amplification’ Izuku felt the air around his hand warp under the sudden pressure he was putting it under. He drew in more and air to the small point and felt the mass of gas take on an almost solid state. The strain of compressing this much air into a single spot was making his arms shake. He noted that Mineta was throwing dozens of his purple balls into the water. The Villains quickly swam away from the odd spheres, obviously not knowing what they did.

“Aero Shock Cannon!” Izuku released the compressed sphere of air at blistering speeds! The projectile punctured the surface of the water and was a several meters deep when it ‘detonated’. The water swelled up and exploded into a massive column that towered high into the air. Tsuyu wrapped her tongue around Izuku’s waist and then put all her strength into leaping off the ‘Platform’ he’d made for them. Izuku was impressed that the force of Tsuyu’s leap was so strong she shattered the construct as she carried him and Mineta to the edge of the flood zone in a single leap.

The Villains that had surrounded them were having a much worse time of it. The shockwave had rocked the pool and sent them flying! Then they’d rained down into the water uncontrollably. Mineta’s Quirk started sticking to anyone they touched and as the Villains were dragged together by the water of the pool rushing to fill the void left by Izuku’s move, they found themselves all stuck together and floating like a ball on top of the waves. The sinking fake ship the students had originally been on had been blown apart by Izuku’s attack; the previous damage making the faux vessel far too weak to withstand the shockwave of force that tore through the massive pool.

“Are you alright, Tsuyu?” Izuku asked his fellow verdette.

“I’m fine, Midoriya, thanks to you.” Tsuyu nodded to him with a smile. Izuku returned the smile as they waded through the water.

“You okay, Mineta?” Izuku checked on his other classmate. Tsuyu was dragging Mineta along behind them by his yellow cape; the short boy floating in the water easily.

“I took a good dump this morning, so those guys should be stuck for several hours.” Mineta replied both not answering Izuku’s question and grossing Tsuyu and Izuku out with that knowledge.

“We need to try and get as many of us out of here as possible.” Izuku mentioned as they got into shallower water. “Aizawa is still fighting in the plaza. If possible we should try to stay along the edge and not attract attention.” Both Tsuyu and Mineta agreed as they got towards the shore. They just had to keep their heads down and get as many of their classmates to safety as possible.

That would have remained the plan too. If not for the three suddenly seeing Aizawa attacked by the guy covered in severed hands. The man dodged Aizawa’s capture scarves and the two engaged in close quarters combat. It appeared that Aizawa had landed the first blow with a strong elbow strike. But that quickly went out the window as the Villain and the Pro separated and Aizawa’s right elbow looked like the skin had been removed! None of the three teens could make out what was being said but in an instant, the situation went from bad to worse!

The large multi-Quirked monster moved so fast that Aizawa didn’t catch it. Hell, the only reason Izuku could see it move was because he was at a distance! Even then it had only been a blur that lasted less than the time it took to blink! Aizawa was slammed into the ground, face first, and then a sickening crack was heard as the behemoth crushed the Pro’s left arm.

“How do you like our Anti-Symbol of Peace, the bioengineered, Nomu?” The apparent leader questioned loudly, a deranged chuckle in his raspy voice as he looked at the injured Pro.

‘Bioengineered?’Izuku blinked at the term. ‘That thing isn’t human? It’s some horrific creation made in a lab?! How? Why? Just to kill All Might?’ He thought to himself as the monster snapped Aizawa’s left arm too.

“Shigaraki Tomura…” The voice of the Warp Gate user came from a swirling mass of the purple-black smoke. The Villain that had scattered the students was now standing close to the leader and their monster.

“Kurogiri, is Thirteen dead?” Tomura questioned the fog-like Villain.

“Out of commission, but one of the students must have grabbed her when I warped them all away. She was able to help one of the students escape as well, a Speed Quirk of some type. I don’t think we’ll have much time before the other Heroes arrive.”

“Damn it, damn it…” Tomura scratched at his neck furiously. “We can’t handle a full wave of reinforcements. You’re lucky that you’re our ticket out of here, Kurogiri; otherwise I’d turn you to dust for failing!”

“What do you want to do, Shigaraki Tomura?” Kurogiri questioned the leader.

“It’s game over, man…for now at least.” Tomura growled, “We’re leaving.”

“Did…did he just say leaving?” Mineta’s voice was hopeful.

“That’s what I heard.” Tsuyu nodded in confirmation.

“Yes! We’re saved!” Mineta hugged Tsuyu in relief.

“Yes but…” Tsuyu trailed off as she felt Mineta’s hand grope her right breast through her costume. The little pervert even had the gall to squeeze the soft orb, twice! Tsuyu quickly shoved Mineta underwater and held him there while the little pervert thrashed around. “I’ve got a bad feeling about this, Midoriya.”

“Yeah… To do all of this and then just leave on a whim… Something’s not right.” Izuku watched as the Villains spoke quietly for a second.

“But before that.” Tomura turned to face the students in the water. “Let’s leave a few dead kids…” Suddenly the lanky man was blitzing in their direction! “…To wound the pride of the Symbol of Peace!” He reached out with his hand, towards Tsuyu’s face. The hand touched something far different than Tsuyu’s face though. A green, translucent sphere now surrounded Tsuyu and Mineta by extension since he was so close to her, stopping the Villain’s fingers from touching her by mere centimeters.

“Get away!” Izuku yelled at the Villain leader. There was a visible distortion of air and the lanky, hand-covered man went rocketing away from their position. Tsuyu’s eyes widened at the effect but that quickly switched to concern as Izuku hacked and coughed up a small amount of blood.

‘I hate the kickback of that Quirk!’ Izuku lamented in his mind. ‘Voice Casting’ was a Quirk he didn’t use too often for multiple reasons. The first was the kickback. It was like taking sand paper and running it over your vocal chords once for each word! The second reason was the amount of energy it took to use it. It was a massiveenergy drain, probably one of the most intensive of all of his current Quirks. Third, the kickback damage was cumulativeand each use compounded the damage to the user’s vocal chords! The fourth reason was the necessity to use ‘Healing Aura’ after using ‘Voice Casting’ to heal his vocal chords. That used up more energy to get Izuku back to normal.

“Midoriya…” Tsuyu called out to him from within the barrier. Izuku turned to her and gave her a smile. He could see the worry in her eyes. He smiled to try and reassure her that he was fine.

“Nomu, kill that little shit!” Tomura screamed in rage as he pulled himself off the ground. He didn’t even know what hit him! One second some energy construct was blocking him, his Decay Quirk only worked on physical objects, then the next the green-haired kid was yelling at him. The next thing Tomura knew was the pain of bouncing across the concrete of the USJ!

Izuku didn’t have time to think. The large monster was in front of him with a large fist cocked back ready to kill him! His survival instincts flared and three Quirks were compiled at lightning speed. ‘Voice Casting’, ‘Amplifier’, ‘Amplification’!

“LEAVE!!!” Izuku yelled the first thing that came to mind. The air rippled and the large Nomu vanished in a blur. Far faster than Tomura had flown, the bioengineered weapon went hurtling all the way across the plaza and smashed into the ground next to the main staircase. Both Kurogiri and Tomura blinked, neither had actually seen Nomu fly passed them. They turned to look at the cloud of dust that had been thrown into the air from their weapon’s impact.

‘FUCK!!!’Izuku hacked up a lot of blood! The pain was horrible! His vocal chords were shot! Amplifier increased both the volume of one’s voice and the effects of sound-based Quirks. He’d only known this because he actually had more than one Quirk related to his voice. The original user that he copied it from was just able to make her voice louder. Amplification increased the power of Emitter Quirks, completely useless to its original holder, a nice man from Aichi Prefecture, but invaluable to Izuku. The only problem with compiling those two together with ‘Voice Casting’ was that they amplified the kickback just as much as the Quirk! Izuku’s vocal chords were torn apart. He couldn’t speak anymore, which meant he couldn’t use any of his voice-based Quirks! Also, Voice Casting’s energy requirement was also increased by the same amount as it was empowered by both Amplifier and Amplification. Izuku felt like he’d just tried to run a Five K with no preparation! He was wiped out.

“Midoriya!” Tsuyu cried out in fear and worry as she wrapped her arms around him. She pulled him from the water and held him as he faded in and out of consciousness.

“Tsuyu!” Ochako cried out as the group from the Conflagration Zone ran into the plaza. All around the plaza, from the various disaster zones, the rest of the 1-A students appeared. All of them were running to get to their Class Representative and the frog-like girl. Some notable exceptions being Sato, Aoyama, and Camie who appeared to be missing, as well as Bakugo and Todoroki who were keeping their eyes locked onto Tomura and Kurogiri.

“What the fuck are you?!” Tomura yelled at the downed Izuku. “How the fuck do you have multiple Quirks you little shit?! Answer me!” The lanky, hand-covered Villain was almost clawing at his own neck. How could this Hero Course brat have multiple Quirks?! That was Sensei’s power! This wasn’t right! The kid was cheating! He wasn’t supposed to exist! He was a glitch in Tomura’s game! “I’ll just erase you then! Nomu!”

The large monster came charging out of the lingering dust and raced towards Izuku and the other students. It let out a horrific shriek as it closed in at speed. The entirety of the 1-A students prepared to defend the injured Izuku, even those that were fairly certain they couldn’t stop this thing.

Tsuyu felt a hand on her shoulder, looking down she saw Izuku forcing himself forward, out of her arms. “Izuku…?” She questioned her injured classmate. Blood was still dripping from Izuku’s mouth from the damage he’d done to himself, but he had to do one last thing. He couldn’t let that monstrosity touch his friends!

‘Just a little more… Just once… I just need to use one more set…’Izuku forced himself to stand. He locked onto the blurring form of Nomu and activated his Quirks. ‘Total Sensory Deprivation’, ‘Mental Boost’, ‘Efficiency’, ‘Enhance Function’, ‘Amplification’! Izuku slammed one of his most powerful combinations into the bioengineered weapon’s brain. This could, in theory, completely destroy the monster’s ability to ever receive sensory input again. It might fry the neurons associated with the five senses entirely. But at this moment, Izuku refused to care!

There was no law that protected bioweapons from full force Quirk usage by Heroes. Izuku knew that much. He also knew that most Healing and Regeneration type Quirks couldn’t heal the brain, or at least not very well. That’s why coma patients were still a thing in hospitals to this day. What he didn’t know, even as he saw the Nomu collapse mid-stride and tumble along the ground before it came to a stop; was that ‘Total Sensory Deprivation’ actually recreated the exact state that the bioweapon was kept in during its development. By returning to this state Nomu automatically entered an unresponsive stasis. Overclocking the Quirk had done exactly what Izuku had predicted and fried the neurons associated with sensory input in the bioweapon’s brain. It would never move again.

“Izuku!” Ochako cried out, not even noticing she’d used his first name. As the verdette’s nose began to bleed from pushing both his body and his brain too far. She leapt forward to catch the falling, unconscious teen and cradled him against her body.

“Nomu!” Tomura yelled to the downed bioweapon. “Nomu! Get up and kill these kids! Get up damn it!” The ranting and demands were starting to sound like the ravings of an unhinged child. It was all cut short by what happened next.

BOOM

The entrance to the USJ practically exploded as All Might himself appeared at the top of the stairs. The man wasn’t wearing his usual smile. In fact, he looked down right pissed. The blonde man tore off his blue tie and tossed it aside.

Have no fear, students! WE are here!” All Might declared as the rest of the Pro Heroes from U.A. appeared alongside him.

Tomura was literally clawing at his neck so badly he began to bleed.

“All Might…” Tomura hissed as he gazed at the Number One Hero, the Symbol of Peace with all the malice he could muster.

Holy shit! Izuku has revealed some more Quirks, but as he’s said before, all of the drawbacks are still present! He can improve their functions and strength by compiling them, but that also compiles the backlash! Not to mention ups the energy drain!

He stole a copy of a useful Quirk too! Villains aren’t given the same consideration as law-abiding citizens!

Aoyama took down his opponent! Let’s hope that painful breathing is taken care of soon and that his damaged costume gets repaired.

Now that Nomu is disabled permanently and All Might still has some time, what’s Tomura’s next move?

Keep reading to find out!

Until I get your reviews, later!

I love Shigaraki's reaction to Midoriya's quirk. Can't wait to see what All For One says when he finds out.

Kairomaru

All for One: "Doctor, I need you to do some Genealogy Research for me." Doctor: "May I ask why?" All for One: "No, just do it." *Internally Screaming* That BITCH lied to me! 'I'm on the pill' my ASS!!! If she hadn't of died almost 150 years ago I'd fucking kill her! *Internally screaming*

sooo is it possible the nemu regeneration is an emitter quirk .... that izuku can copy from its coma state......

Kairomaru

Nope, both Regeneration and Shock Absorption are classified as Mutant Quirks according to the Wiki. Izuku can't copy Mutation Quirks

There is on escape. It’s over Villian boyos. It was over as soon as there was no more portal man and now it’s super over cause no tank to hold all that hero agro sorry Shimura your too low a level dps to handle All-Might

Aeonstorm

Cool I like how he uses different combos with the quirks

Kairomaru

It must suck to get beaten up by a Hero Course student, only to wake up and find a bunch of Pro Heroes around.

I love the attention given to Aoyama in this chapter and Sato the last one. Aoyama really is an interesting and fun character to read about so i'm happy he really got his time to shine.

nice chapter! i like the focus on the other students, though i could do without Mineta's antics. i'll admit i was hoping Izuku would copy at least some of noumu's quirks, the hyper regeneration or shock reduction woud be useful on their own, let alone together, the first one especially would have been useful, even if he already has a healing quirk, he could use one that is automatic. oh well, ce la vie. looking forward to the next one.

Kairomaru

Both Shock Absorption and Hyper Regeneration are Mutant Quirks, so Izuku can't copy them anyway.

What does his Energy Burn quirk actually do?

Kairomaru

Exactly what it says; it burns energy in exchange for boosting everything about the user. All physical abilities are increased, mental acuity and perception is increased, and as Izuku found out, all Quirks, both mental and physical, are boosted as well. The only problem is it rapidly burns through the finite amount of energy that the user has, meaning you can literally knock yourself unconscious from using it for more than a short time.

this is the fic. I came here for can't wait for next ch,
