Well...you'll see. ^_^ Though just to get your Hype even higher...I'm already at work filling in BOTH Kido Lists. Hado AND Bakudo so that there is a Spell for every number from 1-100...just saying.

I am curious of what you plan on doing. I'm curious if you've read a fanfic that unfortunately is dead now but it was very well written called "sword that pierces the heavens." One of my favorite bleach stories. It's a story with the premise of if Ichigo decided after his mother's death to improve himself to ensure that he doesn't make the same mistake

Never heard of it. Though rest assured that the story swirling around my head WON'T just be a Canon rehash! Many changes to our MC, to the other characters, as well as a shake up of who is and isn't part of the main cast.

Power creep won't be too much of a problem...simply because I'm eliminating one of the things that forced a chunk of it. Also I'm working to re-balance the power scale between Hollows and Shinigami. Because the power creep literally turned Average Hollows into flies that only existed to be swatted by about the Soul Society Arc.

Do we get to start voting for a pairing yet? I've often thought there's not enough done with Ichi/Nel after all.

Pairing? Who said ANYTHING about a Pairing? I kid, I have the pairing picked out already. Ichigo ISN'T a Super Prude in this story! To satisfy some curiosity I'll go ahead and confirm that it's a Small Harem. Like the upper limit of what I'm willing to do with Harems anymore. I've picked out the lovely ladies for specific reasons tied to the story too. It's going to be a VERY different Bleach story from Canon!

Thank you, I'll do my best as always! No spoilers though, the lovely ladies will be revealed in time. Certain changes will make some pairings unviable while increasing the chances of others. Honestly I can see several people turning away from this story in the future because of a rather large change I plan to make.

I have a basic premise already planned out, Not a storyline yet, but the overall plot points for a while. What would be your reaction to an Ichigo that didn't have every power in the series?

My first though is "What power does he have then?" Granted, by the end he was a sort of a three way split between Shinigami, Hollow and Quincy. If your plan is to pick one and stick with it, then a lot would depend on which one? Or perhaps, something more unique, like Chad or Orihime?

Ichigo's father was a Shinigami Captain. His mother was a Quincy of middling power. She also had to deal with Aizen's weird Hollow Experiment inside of her. So which power makes the most sense to pass on to Ichigo? As for Orihime...she's getting a power overhaul. Still gets her Rejection Abilities, just in a different way.

Okay, so the obvious answer is that he's going to be a straight up shinigami. In which case my next question is, will he actually learn any kiddo this time? All swordsmanship all the time was cool when he had all the other powers going on, but it won't cut the mustard without the hollow mask boost.

See my answer to Benjamin Shklyar up above... If I'm focusing only on one, you can be DAMN sure that Ichigo is going to MASTER the Four Skills to a degree respectable of a High Ranking/Level Shinigami!
