Lately, well actually since I started doing it but more in the last while than originally, I've gotten more and more comments about my ever growing list of names at the beginning of every chapter. This is my Shoutout to my Patrons that help make my writing possible. Quite a few seem to think I shouldn't keep this ever expanding list at the top of my chapters. I've gotten a few people suggesting that I put it on my profile over at FFNet and on the profile of any other site I post writing at.

So here is my question to you, my Patrons, do you want me to keep the ever expanding Shoutout list at the top of every chapter? Or would you prefer I put it on my profile pages like a plaque honoring all of you on every site that I'll end up posting on? I can do either but I understand the suggestion from the concerned parties about how it needlessly fluffs the word count on FFNet, even though I always try for a 4K word update on every chapter, at minimum. But it is a perk of my Patrons to have a Shoutout for their support and I think you all have a right to decide how that happens.

As a compromise, you could do a shoutout for the NEW Patrons.

That could potentially leave some patrons out because of how I'd have to parse the new members between updates. Some could join between updates an be included on one chapter of one story but not any others. Even if they update in the same month. But to keep the Shoutout from getting too long, which is what this Poll is about, I'd have to only put the newest Patrons on each update. I've had months where our group has grown by 70 or 80 new members. That's a lot to put down as new patrons for a Shoutout when we're trying to decide if we should shorten it or not.

If you do make a Patreon Plaque, that doesn't mean you still can't thank your patreons every time you put out a new chapter. At least, that's what i think.

I still plan to put a thank you on every single chapter, just the list of all of my Patrons will move to the Patron Plaque on the profiles! I'll even refer readers to take a look at it in each and every chapter. You guys and girls mean the world to me for believing in my writing and chasing this Dream with me!

Prehaps you cuold do the shout out oat the bottom with a word count at the top.
