And I’m not sure if you caught it, but one of my favorite lines this episode is when Lemillion says that heroes wear capes so that they can comfort someone- as he tore his cape off and wrapped it around Eri

Yeah, it didn’t look like the lines were translated for you in this version where it specified how far back we were looking when it showed Shigaraki telling Toga and Twice to work with the Hassaikai- I want to say it was maybe a few days earlier, though I could be wrong. Shigaraki is still kind of annoyingly whiny, but I think he has grown and changed- he does care about his minions- in the initial meeting with Overhaul, he told Compress not to go after him after Mag was just killed, but he did anyway and lost an arm- and didn’t let Toga or Twice immediately attack as Overhaul and his guys were leaving because he knew it might just be equally disastrous and he needed to stop and strategize to get back at him (and he didn’t want to lose them). In this flashback, when Toga and Twice are bitching asking why they should join the yakuza, Shigaraki takes the hand off of his face to look them in the eyes as he gives the answer- and yes, he was smart enough not to overtly tell them to “betray” them, I can’t remember, but I think he knew about Nemoto and his “truth” quirk- so these guys are written as “human”- messed up and crazy humans, but real and somewhat sympathetic all the same
