It’s funny you mentioned Star Wars, the manga writer is actually a fan and there are some references/Easter eggs- like in the first episode, the name of the place where we saw that first villain was Tattooin Station, and the name of the junior high that Midoriya and Bakugo (the bully) attend is Aldera Junior High. Also, All Might is voiced by the same VA that voiced Major Armstrong in FMAB, his “buffed up” form sounds just like him lol- in most of the other roles the VA does, he sounds like he does in his “Small Might” form (like Zoro in the OP dub). Yeah, it is crazy that there were so many bystanders at the crime scenes, I’m guessing it’s maybe because the public has so much trust that heroes will intervene/resolve everything that they don’t feel like they’re actually in danger lol- but a lot of the heroes were at least rescuing people even if they didn’t feel up to fighting the villain themselves- Death Arms even did try for a punch, but it just sank into the body and did nothing, so I’m not sure if them continuing to fight in vain would have helped the bully as he was steadily taking over his body the entire time, I think the only thing that would help is for something/someone strong enough to make him release his hold completely. You still made a good point about “true” heroes, though. Excited for the next episodes already

I almost forgot to mention another voice actor you would have a hard time recognizing because the characters are so different, but the VA for Bakugo(the bully) was also the voice for the President in season 3 Kaguya- when I was watching the dub for that season for the first time with you, I had to forcibly tell myself “don’t think about Bakugo” whenever the president was talking, imagining him with that personality/attitude would have been bad lol
