Sitcom Question (Patreon)

The conflicting limitations of my software (It won't export if I have any clip shorter than 3 seconds) vs the Youtube blocking rules (they'll block the video if any clip is longer than 5 seconds, and even that is pushing it, 4 seconds is better) means that any clip from the show I'm reacting to HAS to be between 3 and 4.5 seconds, no more, no less.

That's fine for dramas, but as keeps getting pointed out to me by multiple people, this is a problem when it comes to sitcoms because oftentimes I either can't show the full setup for a joke or I can't show the full punchline.  These limitations aren't as much of a problem for other genres, but comedy is a delicate creature. It requires room to breathe.

I said all that to say this, I believe Patreon exclusive videos, where I don't have the upper limit on clip length, might be a better place for sitcoms. That way I wouldn't have to keep cutting clips off after 3-5 seconds, ruining setups and jokes.
