I'm a massive Sam Raimi fan, and this just seemed like one of his typical horror films. (Reanimated corpse, evil book, shots that zoom in on eyes, random focus on water droplets)

Everything Everywhere All At Once (the big favorite to win Best Picture at the Oscars in a few weeks) is a much better multiverse movie than this (not saying this is bad but I'd say somewhere between good and mediocre.
