Samurai Champloo I believe was also designed to just be one season- the opening and ending credits are safe to watch, and there are no post credits to worry about. It’s from the same director as Cowboy Bebop, Shinichiro Watanabe, and just as Bebop employed mostly Jazz/Blues in its soundtrack, Samurai Champloo has mostly low fi hip-hop. In addition to Mugen having the same voice as Spike, Jet’s VA voices a one off character in episode 1 (in fact, “Spike” and “Jet” will be some of the first voices you hear in the pilot), and Faye’s VA voices a one off character in episode 2. I’m excited to see your reaction to the final episodes of this and get into Samurai Champloo.
