Also, it’s subtle I think, but Jean helping lead the charge and being the one to say “let’s go” when it was time to kill Pixis shows to me how much he’s grown as a character- in the first part of season 3, he hesitated and almost died when they were first fighting humans, then in Shiganshina, he stopped Hange from immediately killing Reiner, then in the first part of season 4, he seemed to question himself when up against the cart- whether he missed because of Falco causing him to hesitate, but here, while the others were hesitating, he was the one to say we need to go ahead and do this. He’s come a long way from the annoying cadet that only wanted to be an MP and hide in the interior.

Another thing, the title of episode 80 parallels/links to the title of episode 1- remember the title of episode 1 seemed kind of weird/unexplained at the time(To you in 2000 years), but linking it to this one (From you 2000 years ago) it finally makes more sense
