I’m glad to see that you understood that Reiner was trying to help Falco in the scene where he was grumbling about Gabi becoming the armored titan and dying so young- many reactors think he’s just being an asshole lol- and when he was back at home talking about the people on the island he was kind of being sarcastic or something along those lines being that the worst things he could say about the island “devils” was about Sasha and her potato and I assume maybe Conny forgetting why he went into the bathroom, maybe Jean was the one who only thought of himself, and obviously Eren being the single minded fool that other chumps followed lol- and his mother was horrified and closed the window quickly before anyone could overhear anything remotely good/not bad being said about the island savages
