I don't know if you've pieced this together but the woman that Hohenheim was drinking with in episode 27 was a young Pinako Rockbell, Winry's grandmother. And she doesn't have the same voice actress as Lust. Lust was played by Laura Bailey, the young PInako was portrayed by Shelley Calene-Black, the old Pinako is played by Juli Erickson.

What happened to Ling was a fate worse than death. A cartoon hasn't freaked me out like this since that horrific scene in Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker (Not gonna spoil it but if you've seen the film then you know what I'm talking about).
