That was probably milk in that wine glass. White wine is translucent while milk is opaque, if they wanted it to be white wine they could've just make it look transparent, although I wouldn't put it past the show to not do as a cost cutting measure. Also, I doubt they'd have the kid drink wine, even though the setting is European inspired, since we've never seen someone like Edward or Winry drinking wine. Although, I could be misremembering and there was probably a dinner scene with Winry and the Hughes family where she was having wine and I just didn't notice. But it the end of the day it was probably just a visual gag.
