Great reaction and analysis- characterization is really what draws me in to a show more so than plot- anime for the most part (the shows I’ve seen at least) seems to excel at it. In fact, for most of them it’s hard for me to pick a favorite character for that very reason. I definitely can’t pick just one for this show- even between the brothers, it doesn’t feel right trying to choose one over the other- I think I lean towards Ed because he’s got more edge and fire to him- but Al is so lovable and adorable with a great heart you can’t not love him and feel for him.
