The character of Gaetano was just all over the place. His acting was at times so over the top, it completely took me out of the show. When he made up with his brother Josto, I actually came around and thought; "Wait a minute, this is an interesting twist". But then the show killed him off so stupidly, that I kinda got a little mad.

That's a good synopsis of his character arc now that you mention it. I think this shows gets up its own ass too much sometimes. But not all the time because I think Josto's death in the next episode is very well done and well earned.
