There's an after credits scene. I wouldn't get too hung up on specifically what mental illnesses Eliot has. It hasn't been diagnosed within the show so maybe just assume it's DID with some other stuff. I don't think Eliot was trying to commit suicide when he went off the railing. For one thing it was only like a 20 foot drop.
