They haven’t specified exactly how many high schools have hero course studies- but at the provisional license exam last season they named Shiketsu-where Camie, Inasa, and Shishikura (guy with their teacher on the sidelines here that Bakugo and friends eliminated in the first test of the exam) are from, Ketsubutsu- where Ms Joke teaches (and amongst her students there was the Earth tremor guy and the girl that could “telescope” her body)- and I think the school where the guys that teamed up on Todoroki/Icyhot in the first phase was named, I just don’t remember it off the top of my head. But there were a total of over 1500 students there for the first phase, and we know UA had 20 students there, not sure how many total from the other schools named, we only saw a handful, but with 1500 that’s got to be a lot of schools- I’m sure most aren’t as elite as UA and Shiketsu, but I would imagine that probably many if not most of the high schools offer hero studies. And unless it’s changed since I learned a little about it, in Japan you aren’t just going to school based on where you live, you or your parents pick schools and you apply and take entrance exams to get in even starting at elementary school, and what caliber school you get into in elementary influences what caliber you have a chance at for intermediate, and that influences your junior high options, and then high school and college/university- it’s really competitive, and I’ve heard that kind of pressure on students is one reason for Japan having kind of a higher suicide rate amongst young people compared to other countries. I digressed a bit, but I agree this world seems a lot more well thought out than that of Harry Potter

I’ve only seen one of the movies so far, I plan to watch the others sometime- the one I watched is the one promoted in that filler episode from season 3- it was pretty good, I thought the resolution of the conflict a little cheesy, but otherwise it was still really enjoyable, from what I hear, the movies are counted as canon, and even though so far they haven’t referenced anything that happened or the new characters introduced in the main show, they might eventually (or have been in the manga past what’s been animated so far)- I’m sure they’ll recap or whatever enough so that people who haven’t seen the movies wouldn’t be thrown off, but You still might enjoy them. Another plus to movies is the animation budget is probably higher, so if you’re a fan of crazy animations, you’ll like that. There are also OVAs- the ones I’ve seen are 2 included at the end of season 4 and 2 at the end of season 5 on crunchyroll- there might be more though, I’m not sure- but potentially those could be extra content as well while you’re waiting on season 7 episodes to drop
