They didn’t bring me any food today. Though considering the commotion I’ve been hearing from outside of the brig, I’m guessing it isn’t due to forgetfulness on their part.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they fucked up and had Eve escape. This would be why you don’t lock up your Xenomorph handler…

They let me out today, and it turns out my suspicions were correct—Eve escaped, and now they need my help to catch her. I would tell them to go fuck themselves, but honestly this is pretty much my only chance of getting into Weyland-Yutani’s good graces again (i.e. proving that I’m worth keeping alive). Of course, I would have a much easier time helping if I didn’t have to be around Dr. Yamamoto. She even had the nerve to ask me if I would be able to act professionally “this time!”

Anyway, a maintenance worker disappeared shortly after Eve’s escape. They could’ve easily lost many more people, so I’d say they’re lucky. I can only hope that that poor woman got a swift death.

I asked Dr. Yamamoto if there was any risk of Eve reproducing, but she assured me that this would be impossible as Eve is incapable of producing eggs, something that was part of her design as a genetic fail-safe.
