Loved this reaction!!! So glad you did this!! The extended performances were actually integrated into the show, they were just cut from the film. So the lover set ended with The Archer, Wildest Dreams transitioned into Bad Blood. Long Live was added after the Speak Now Re-Release, so all dates after that got Long Live in the set. I did not get Long Live and I probably would have cried. There were other songs she also cut from the film that were performed live. You can look up fan recordings on TikTok (that’s what I do lol) and she has Tis the Damn Season and Cardigan in the set. And she also did No Body, No Crime with HAIM which was awesome. She also did a Surprise Song of Haunted which was amazing. My show we got The Story of Us and Seven. It was the day before Father’s Day, and she dedicated Seven to people who may have had absent fathers or poor relationships with theirs. My dad passed away in 2016 and let me tell you I cried so hard during that song. This year has been complete trash and the Eras Tour has been the one thing I keep reliving because it was truly the best night for me. Thanks for this reaction, I got to enjoy re-watching it and hearing from another Swiftie!

So excited to watch this with you. I somehow got third row floor seats to the rain show at Gillette through the presale, and it was such an amazing experience. When she drops down at the end of the stage during My Tears Ricochet, she was directly in front of me, and I’m fairly certain my soul left my body. Have not recovered yet and that was half a year ago.

I KNEW you would love the Folklore set! I was so excited for you to see it. August into Illicit Affairs was my favorite part of the concert along with All Too Well and Long Live. It was so magical live. She had 6 SoFi dates with the first 3 being filmed. I sat way up in the rafters but was there when she sang Our Song. The crowd was crazy! I just knew it would be in the film. I felt hungover after my show and all I drank was water. 😆 That woman is amazing! I seriously don’t know how she did 3 dates in a row, took one day off, and then played 3 more dates. If you get a chance to see her when she comes back to the US you should take it. I hope someone out there is selling tickets at face value so you get the chance. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you! And yes…do the 1989 concert again!! So fun watching these shows with you!

Enjoyed this so much! Knowing that Forklore was next when you shut off part 1 was driving me crazy.. seeing you enjoy it was everything though! Also, as someone above me said the extended version songs were part of every concert, the only songs that changed was the acoustic set songs. 🫶🏻 I also didn’t get to go because I couldn’t afford it, but I wish there was a way I can see it live! However, watching it in theaters and now at home has been incredible!

This is forever going to be my favorite ever performance of Long Live. Knowing how she wrote it for not only her fans, but for her band and singers after their first tour. If you look at Amos rocking TF out, you can just see he's remembering the first time he heard it and reliving every moment and feeling every word.

Yeah RIP Cardigan, Seven as a spoken word poem, TTDS. But I understand sort of why they were cut during the theater release.

The fact they left out a third of the love triangle is criminal.

After the show I had "Taylor-nesia". It was apparently a legit thing that happened to a lot of people. It was like I had blacked out and I couldn't tell you a damn thing about that concert until halfway through the day after lol

I think most of the other comments covered what I was going to say. The transitions you saw were not the actual live show transitions. The only 2 that were shown though still edited 85% of it was the entrance and midnights. The band played her out a couple times. My favorite one they cut was the one from The Archer into Fearless. Not sure why they cut Wildest Dreams from the theater version because the transition into Bad Blood is shown as well as Long Live. Overall, it was a great experience to be able to see it live with face value tickets. Saw the movie 8 times in theaters and still not old. I can tell they changed the edit for the home version. They showcased her raw vocals for the home versions rather than filter it for theaters. And she still sounds amazing. I’m not giving out hope for a live album. Thanks for posting this it’s been quite fun.

You can look for the surprise songs from Speak Now you want to watch. She performed Haunted and Better Than Revenge!!! She played the guitar for both songs!!! 💜

I can listen to Steven fan girl and defend Taylor so hardcore all day! This concert was everything. This was my first Taylor concert and to say it was an experience of a lifetime is the understatement of the decade. I was fortunate enough to survive the great war and walk away from evil Ticketmaster with my section 109 row 13 ticket for $199. I will forever be grateful to my lucky stars for that chance. I really wish people didn't suck and resell tickets they never wanted for obscene amounts of money.

I was lucky enough to get two free tickets in the 100s section at MetLife in May through CapitalOne and this was the first Taylor tour I’ve ever been to. I’ve always wanted to go to a rain show of hers because they seem to be an experience all on its own

Went to see her in Santa Clara. During Long Live, fireworks were going from the theme park across the street, they were framed so fireworks were behind her. It was so incredibly magical!

Addison

I feel you so hard on the reseller thing. My coworker and her friends got codes so they got tickets for such a good price and I got waitlisted and searched and searched for at least reasonably priced resell tickets and never found any. I couldn’t justify spending that much money when it was going to a reseller who got a good price and turned around and profited hundreds or even thousands.

Also, the transition from wildest dreams to bad blood is so sick, I'm sad they cut it for the film

Yes to 1989 watch party!

Taylors smile is just the BEST thing on this planet :):)

It's mind boggling when you think that Taylor has already done 60+ of these shows...Not only does she have to remember all the songs she has to remember all the chorography ( however you spell it ) as well for 3 + hours....And still has all 2024 to go...As you say...Taylor is a Legend

Anonymous

Wow...Steven...That rant at the end was EPIC...You should be Taylors PR Rep...I feel 1,000% the same as what you just said...Bless you :)

Illicit affairs was EVERYTHING live. My most profound memory of any concert EVER.

Yes, definitely a 1989 watch party. So many great Taylor performances and moments. I cannot count how many times I have re-watched your reactions to WANGBT/Wildest Dreams-Enchanted (best Taylor Moment Ever) and Out of the Woods/Shake It Off. Just so good!

Steven, you said the "Illicit Affairs" performance here on the Era's Tour, was a top 5 Taylor moment for you. What is that top 5?

fivebyfive

Extra songs are the same night and is part of her set but were cut out of the theater version. SHe did 3h 40m

I love watching your joy. I have watched this tour probably 10 times now. half as various reaction videos. I was prepared to spend $1000 a ticket to go to SOFI stadium. Until I was scammed out of $900 trying to by resale tickets. it broke my heart

One more thing, I know you mentioned the breaks in the stage during Delicate, but when you watch again, take so much detail in the stage. with the balls in willow and the bikes in Blank Space. The technology that allows the dancers to interact with the stage to create more activity. Its such a perfect little detail.

Koreamkimmie

Yes!! Love that reaction when she ran across the stage so dramatically during August lol. Love it!!

Koreamkimmie

commenting on you reaction during 1989 set, on how many visuals and changes.....it was so overstimulating (in a good way) I could not sleep for 3 days after the show. Not kidding. My friend offered tickets the next day after the show I attended. He had floor seats so close to the stage and I turned it down. I told him to give it to someone who has not had a chance to go. Looking back I wanna kick myself because those seats were so damn close to the stage. Mine were nosebleeds but no complaints...we could see all the cool stage visuals. I am gonna watch your reaction all over again to part 1 &2....too god

Koreamkimmie

"You're on your own kid" was our surprise song...we were there for this performance and "Our Song" was a different night in LA; they edited so perfectly. Made it seem like it was the same night. We also had Death by 1000 cuts for our first acoustic guitar surprise song. Wish "You're on Your Own kid was on the set list though.

Koreamkimmie

yes it was a bummer, glad they added it for the film at home, but kind of a bummer.

Koreamkimmie

we got lucky when we bought ours right before the ticketmaster disaster, but it was not cool! I think she added more shows to try to help, and probably why she did the concert film. I have a feeling she will be extending and coming around again for the fans that could not get tickets; i would not be surprised if her Team is keeping an eye out for fans that have been heartbroken, not able to afford or get tickets and then she will do some special shows only for the ones that missed out. That what she does. I hope my theory is right lol
