I didn't take this as being actually high...but high on love and the feeling it gives you, and she wants to live in it forever...lavender haze is a 1950's slang for being in love..."Being in a Lavender Haze is a phrase found in the 1950s. It is about being deeply in love with somebody, kind of being oblivious to everything around them that isn't about their crush and/or love interest." I love the visuals in the MV so much. The koi is a speak now reference too! It also made me think like her life is a fishbowl, where everyone has access to her life, but being with Joe is like her own little cloud/blanket/cover that makes her feel content in the middle of the fishbowl. I love the symbolism...I totally agree with her creative control being incredible for her career and the fans as well.

Totally agree with this! It's representative of the love high :) And I've also seen comments that the koi fish could also represent that Joe is a Piscis. Other than that, love your reaction Steven! This visuals are so good, she looks incredible!!
