I was a character performer at WDW for 5 years! (I also went to the same high school as Elliot- crazy small world! But a lot of people from our high school were performers at Disney lol) I truly loved my job! I was “mouse height” so I performed as Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Vanellope, Edna Mode, and Dopey! It has its workplace politics like everywhere else but at the heart it’s a bunch of theatre kids. At the end of the day there’s so cynicism in it when you’re having a rough day, or guests are rude, but getting to meet special kiddos there with Make A Wish who just wanted to hug Mickey is a really priceless thing to be a part of :)
