*Mames voice* Two things... One - MAMRIE. I have been dealing with back pain in EXACTLY the same spot - that lower left area right above the hip. I am, by my mom's estimation, the fourth generation to have this exact problem in this exact spot, so...that's fun. I did actually go to the doctor - it was pulling teeth to get me there, but I was desperate - and they basically said insurance won't greenlight an MRI unless I've done all this other shit first. AMERICAN HEALTHCARE!! Two - re: freestyle swimming: So, in competitive swimming, when they say "freestyle," they actually DO mean "freestyle" - swimmers can choose whatever stroke they want. Most competitive swimmers just choose the front crawl because it's the fastest stroke by a wide margin and gives them the highest likelihood of winning, and it's common enough that they're now used interchangeably. Even most swim coaches, including my own, called the front crawl "freestyle" and it just...kinda stuck. ANYWAY. I miss popcorn. It fucks up my gut. Please enjoy some for me. <3

I recommend going to a physical therapist first over going to the doctor. They totally healed my hip and I’m going back for my knee. And you don’t need a doc referral. If you have Athletico in LA, I recommend them!

Soo glad you mentioned the Super Bowl! 😂 I’m from Kansas so naturally I’m a huge KC Chiefs fan (sorry Grace, I have love for the Eagles too), and I’m soo excited that the Kelce brothers are in the SB together. This episode was so meta for me because I’m also a huge fan of the Kelce brothers podcast New Heights! And no, I don’t think they have a sister 😂

Which yoga app does Grace use? There’s a blue app with a dog on it or a white app with the letter D on it. Also, Mamrie jinxed me. I hurt my neck yesterday after listening to this podcast 😂
