Happy Friday, Patrons! (Patreon)

This was a video my mom sent me earlier today, so now you're all basically included on the family thread. How fun! Also, I fully support the spread of talking tree mini movies in people's front yards during a pandemic this holiday season. Why not? How else can we elevate the personal seasonal productions people put into/onto their homes over the holidays?
I've never been a "holiday decorator" but Elliott moved in with me last year with basically nothing other than his own artificial Christmas tree and I gotta say...it's grown on me. Artificially. He put the tree up and I put the decorations on it and the look as a whole can only be described as... "it looks like you used all of the decorations you had." AND I DID. MORE IS MORE THIS YEAR BB. Our tree is like a Jackson Pollock painting. I'm just throwing shit on it left right and sideways. It's a statement. More like an exclamation. Like an artificial Christmas tree screaming for help. So cute.
I went for a classy boho-chic-eclectic-look and in reality it looks a bit like a child-used-all-the-trash-at-Target-to-decorate-look. Still cute imho. I just got my raccoon astronaut ornament delivered today so it's reeeeeally coming together. *brushes literally dust off her shoulder*
So, how are we hanging in this Friday, patrons? Another week has happened. [insert your personal reaction to a mention of it being December here] Groan sigh hiss cheers eye roll shoulder shrug etc. How has your week been? My winter semester for school started this week so all the reading I've been pretending I didn't have to do is now upon me. So this weekend my time will be spent talking myself into reading, thinking about the idea of potentially reading, finding nooks and crannies of my house to 'organize' to avoid reading, standing in my living room wondering what other shit I should shove into the artificial Christmas tree rather than reading, imaging how much I could have already read by now if I started reading when I initially thought about reading, the list goes on! A wild weekend awaits! What do you have on the good ol' to-do lists for the weekend? Anyone decorating? Anyone moderating fights between electronic decorations in their neighborhood? Let me know! If I don't respond right away it's because I'm busy cramming more trash onto our tree before Elliott notices. Have great weekends! ❤️G
