All the egg talk from our 100th episode had me thinking about this incredibly stupid infomercial I saw the other week.  I only caught the tail end of Lucinda Scala Quinn's iconic spurtle commercial when it was on TV so I had to look it up and ... turns out... it's just as wonderfully stupid as I remember.  It's a SPURTLE, you guys. SPURTLE. The word rolls off the tongue like a dirty nickle. It's soooo silly I LOVE IT.

I mean, look how much actual shit you can scoop up with a spurtle! GALLONS OF TUNA SALAD, BUCKETS OF MAYONNAISE WITH JUST ONE FLICK OF THE WRIST. Lucinda Scala Quinn you've done it again! Classic LSQ! We shouldn't have expected anything less from MARTHA STEWART'S former food person something or other. She's breathed the same air as IG royalty! How could you not wanna buy one of these tiny paddle boards for every newly married cousin you have?!

TBH though she's kinda got me convinced. It's not terrible. I might get one. Who knows. 2020's got a lot of chaotic impulse buy energy going. Also, who else wants to get LSQ lady-liquored and ask her if she and Martha ever kissed? Just me? Okay!

ANYWAY, how are you guys?? Another week! We did it! We're halfway through October! I have no idea how I should feel about it! So I'll just keep exclaiming things! Cool!

So, what do we have on tap for the weekend? What are our rascal-selves gonna get into? For me, I have the annual Helbig-Gets-A-Dumpster-Adventure scheduled - I booked a dumpster that got dropped off today so I'm about to have a big weekend of throwing my life away! 🙃 Last year Elliott and I got a dumpster to do a major house clean and it was great so we're doing that again. It sounds a little extreme but it works! And that's basically my whole weekend. Spurtles and dumpsters! It's gonna be wild! Now, tell me what's happening for you this weekend! What are you getting done, relaxing from or doing for fun? Oops, a poem? Also, I'm just so damn thankful that infomercials are still being made. Cheers to LSQ for respecting the most honorable, almost lost artform! Okay I'm off to take out the trash! Have great weekends! ❤️G (I'll use less exclamation marks next time)
