It's actually really difficult to do that with sonic characters. As soon as you stray away from the canon art style things make less and less sense. We'll see if coloring it can give it some flair.

I fully understand your not the only artist that has trouble with Sonic characters I'm pretty deep in the Sonic fandom so if you'd like some recommendations I'd be happy to help.
