*I'm deaf in my right ear which is why I'm not wearing headphones. I know, it's a bummer not to get the panning sounds. It's also been a bummer to only have one ear my whole life for lots of other reasons, like, playing telephone growing up, I was terrible at it. But, I'll be ok, and I'm getting both channels in the earbud, thanks for your concern :)

Yes those darn geoblocks and their random timing. Anyways As mentioned this one may be because a 2nd video (piano on the beach) was filmed and released in 2008 for this song to push promo for Delta in the US Market. It was released in September 2007 as the lead to her 3rd album DELTA, and became her 8th number one on the ARIA singles chart. Her 9th wouldn’t be until 8 years later with Wings in 2015.

It definitely does have that bright and triumphant kinda feel and lyrically. It was a bit of a comeback after a bit of a quiet period during 2006-07, the Mistaken Identity singles run wrapped up during 2005 and she had the 2006 Commonwealth Games song/performance that made headlines. It was another co-written with Brian McFadden also. Of course there might be a Blink song relation that’d be right 😂 lol but I can hear the pop/punk vibe in what you were playing. Also that other bit you played did remind me of a few others a little, maybe that 90’s Shawn Mullins ‘lullaby’ kinda? or a song in that ballpark.
