*I'm deaf in my right ear which is why I'm not wearing headphones. I know, it's a bummer not to get the panning sounds. It's also been a bummer to only have one ear my whole life for lots of other reasons, like, playing telephone growing up, I was terrible at it. But, I'll be ok, and I'm getting both channels in the earbud, thanks for your concern :)

The Wildcard Possessionless I like the flow of, it’s one of my top picks as a deeper cut from the Delta album. And yeah the title drop doesn’t come in until a little bit. It also has an ‘In This Life’ mention, which would’ve been a funny bookend to the mixtape, but at least we got a rep from this album in the mix. Overall I’d probably say my top 3 if I had to choose from this bunch would be Dancing With A Broken Heart, Wings, and maybe Predictable, with a few close behind. Delta does have a lot of piano driven ballads, so I tried to mix in some up tempos like The River and The Power and also Think About You for the kinda sound shift and dancing to give a bit of variety there.

And I also did think you’d connect with her being a bit more on the songwriting/playing an instrument side of things. Interesting also to note when you mentioned artists sustaining the longevity of a career. After Delta’s first 2 albums in particular, there’s been some gaps between album releases side of things anywhere between 3-5 years, (although she had released some standalone and lead singles preceding the album with staggered and bit longer rollouts to fill in some of those gaps more as well). Plenty more music videos etc in her discography for later. Also cool to see how the titles only pick worked out, I’ll be ramping that idea up in the next months with a fun mixtape idea that I could make a recurring thing with some tweaks haha. ;)
