I really enjoyed these songs. I think you hit the nail on the head that covers need to be recognizable but also have their own spin in order to be good, and I feel like these really worked for me. I’ve never heard any of those songs before, but I’m deeply enjoying Trixie’s work so far. She’s very talented. I think Alanis was like twenty when that video came out? Definitely an iconic music video. I feel like the last video I saw get so popular everyone made their own version was probably “Chandelier.” Been a bit since any music videos have generated that much buzz, IMO, but I love it when they do. Great choice for a bonus reaction, too.
