Holodexxx on Steam (Patreon)

Heya Patrons,

So we have some good news! 

In the near future we will be releasing a small collection of our first two demos on Steam. We think that this is important for a few reasons. Launching on Steam is a big deal for Holodexxx in terms of visibility and credibility. Steam is the largest gaming marketplace, and has a massive user base. Launching an offering on Steam will help us promote what we are creating, and help us find fellow dreamers who want to help bring virtual porn to life. 

Developing Holodexxx isn't cheap. There are some pieces of tech that we need to purchase from a second party in order to create the BEST virtual porn experience. Launching on Steam will help us fund the improvements to our base rig that we need to make our models come to life. More support also equals a faster release schedule, and the ability for us to create more content.

Additionally, it is important for experiences like Holodexxx to launch on Steam to de-stigmatize adult experiences. I'm sure you all understand the double standard that porn encounters when trying to appear on social media platforms, but even worse are the standards imposed by marketplaces. One day we will write up a post detailing the roadblocks we have had to overcome, and you'll understand why AAA adult experiences are non-existent.  Releasing a product on Steam will help legitimize Holodexxx in the eyes of those who may be too wary of working with an adult project.

A few important points about this Steam release:

• The release does not contain new content and will not receive content updates
• Packaging this content into a Steam release was a minimal effort, and has not impacted development on our next release
• Any Patron is welcome to ask for a Steam key upon release, and another key to give to a friend so you can share the Holodexxx love!

We're wrapping up the Steam release over the next few days, and will be reaching out to those that volunteered to test to give us hand.
