Sol, a 23-year-old man was on his way to hang out with his childhood friend for the first time in three months. Coincidentally it had only been three months since his parents kicked him out of his house, and unfortunately, his new job wasn’t making ends meet in his new but small apartment. He hadn’t much in his name, just his work laptop, a pile of clothes, a futon in the middle of his living room along with a few other necessities. At this point in his life, he was just trying to survive being on his own. But that wasn’t the hardest part. Regardless of how mean his parents were to him, no matter how many times they made him feel like an embarrassment and a failure, he at least wasn’t alone. Work was hard, but coming home to his apartment every day with no one to greet him was the toughest part.

His childhood friend Lila, who is a talented and good-looking inventor and a couple of years older than him, invited him over saying that she could help. But with all the tough challenges the young man had faced over the past few weeks, he wasn’t feeling very enthusiastic. Upon arriving at his friend's nice looking one-story house, he knocked on the door and Lila answered only seconds later. The young woman had beautiful silky hair and a long ponytail, was about as tall as he was, and wore a pastel pink shirt summer dress with a long flowing skirt. Wasting no time, he threw her arms around him and gave him a big welcoming hug along with a playful peck on the cheek as he squeezed him. Though surprised, Sol let out a sigh In happiness, feeling some of the weight in his chest disappear as she hugged him.

“Hey Sol! It’s been a while! Come on in!” she said cheerfully. “Come in, I made some tea for us!” Releasing her hug, she guided him inside and closed the door behind them. Once inside, Lila and Sol were sitting in the living room on her couch in front of a nice wooden table with freshly made tea. The warm drinks filled the room with a calming aroma that almost made Sol feel at home, feeling his anxiety drift away with every breath he took. “So how was your new house? Must be nice to finally move away from your folks.” she asked. Sol sighed, flashes of his parent's demeaning remarks flooding his mind before shaking the thought away. “Actually, yeah. Being away from them has put me in a better place.” he said with a smile.

It was then that Lila noticed the bags under his eyes, and how exhausted his voice sounded. “Are you feeling all right?” she asked, scooting closer to him just a few inches from their shoulders touching. Before answering, he took a tiny sip of his tea, feeling slightly warmer the second the drink touched his lips. Upon drinking, he relaxed his shoulders and let out a soft but calm sigh. “Living on my own has been... better.” the young man hesitated to say. “And I would never go back home even if they gave me a choice. But being in an empty house has been the most difficult part. “With no one to come home to, parents or otherwise, I don’t look forward to going back home any more than I look forward to going into work.“

Taking another sip of the tea, he felt another bit of weight lift from his shoulders, as if his stress was melting away with every small sip. There was a moment of silence before Lila turned to him with a Playful smile. “Funny you should mention.” she said with a short pause getting Sol’s attention as he looked over to her, the bags under his eyes less noticeable than before. “Sometimes I also dread living by myself. And even with my job, it’s difficult for me to pay for all the necessities.” she then paused for a moment before taking a tiny swig of her tea as well, but just barely a sip. “So... I called you over to ask if you would like to live here with me.” The young man’s heart skipped a beat, looking into his friend in disbelief his eyes widening in disbelief. “This house feels so empty with only me living here. It’d be nice to have some company.”

Sol stuttered for a moment, he was so happy he honestly didn’t know how to respond, but he was also still frozen in disbelief. “Are.... y-you sure? I-I couldn’t-” he suddenly stopped as Lila placed her hand on his thigh, making him blush she scooted closer to him. “Hey, when we were younger you would always defend me from the other kids when they picked on me, think nothing of it.” she said softly, slowly taking her hand off his thigh. “Besides, I’d love to have you as my roommate.❤️” Lila giggled with a welcoming smile. Sol also smiled, almost tearing up with happiness, not just knowing that he wouldn’t be alone anymore, but knowing that his best friend wanted to live with him meant the world to him. “Buuuuuuut...” she teased in a high pitched voice while placing her tea back down on the table. "If you don't mind, I would like you to do a little favor for me."

Sol tilted his head with curiosity. “Of course. What kind of favor?” he asked. Lila placed her unfinished tea on the table and sat up from the couch, practically skipping out of the room with excitement. Sol then took another swig of his tea, as a little more weight continued to lift from his shoulders. Upon returning, the young woman appeared to have of a pile of fabric in her arms, it looked like one of those fancy puffy blankets that would often cost a fortune to purchase. But then she unraveled the mass in front of her, revealing a costume of some sort. Its colors were very pastel, with soft brown fabric, paws covering the hands and feet, and an extremely cute puppy-shaped head. It looked more like a big plush than a suit, or almost like a Kigurumi costume.

“Tada!” she giggled, swinging the costume back-and-forth with a smile. The fabric ruffled softly as it swayed in the air, almost teasingly to show it off. The texture of the material looked incredibly well made, no seams or stitches were visible, and the light tones complemented its smooth texture. “This is my state-of-the-art dog plush suit! Made it from the best fabric I could find, and stuffed with the finest cotton to give it a nice plushy texture.” she boasted, holding it up against her chest as she leaned towards Sol. “And I would like YOU to try it on.” she followed up. Sol just looked back at her in surprise, his eyes drifting down to the comfy-looking suit as he felt butterflies fluttering in his chest. Amused by the look on his face, Lila smiled with a subtle giggle.

“Here! Have a feel!” she said playfully, handing the costume over to him as she pressed the soft fabric against his chest. His cheeks becoming slightly rosy, Sol let out a small breath as he held the material in his arms. The costume definitely had a plush feel to it, his hand sinking into the fabric as he held onto it. It felt like he was hugging a soft blanket, not only that, but the fabric was incredibly smooth against his arms. “Cushy right? Imagine how soft it would feel when putting it on.” she said, folding both of her arms behind her back. Sol's felt his heart thump in his chest as he squeezed the outfit as its comforting warmth washed over him. It had the texture of a squishy pillow, feeling the soft fabric mold around his arms as he held it.

“It definitely feels nice. But, with this much stuffing, won’t it get hot?” he asked looking back up to Lila with a rosy smile, still hugging the costume against his chest. “That’s the best part, I reengineered the fabric to be perfectly ventilated. So whoever wears it won’t get stuffy while inside of it. So unless you’re wearing it in Arizona or something, you could even fall asleep in it without so much as sweating.” she said, practically announcing it as if pitching it to a sponsor. Sol was impressed, looking back down at the suit as he looked at the adorable dog-shaped headpiece. Giving it a soft squeeze in his left hand, he couldn’t help but imagine what it would feel like wrapped up over him. However, he also couldn’t help but feel hesitant, wearing something that would make him feel like a giant stuffed animal.

“Sounds like you put a lot of work into this.” he smiled. But, are you sure you want me to wear it? What if it doesn’t fit and I end up ripping it?” Lila put on a playful grin as she chuckled under her breath. “Silly. I made it specifically with you in mind. ❤️” she responded with a teasingly soft tone. Sol gasped softly under his breath, his cheeks becoming even rosier as his flirty friend kept smiling at him. “I know how much you like cute things. Back in school, whenever we talked about video games, you would always bring up characters of the anthropomorphic variety, like that nimbat from that game Dust you liked.” she said. “So I figured I’d make a suit with those adorable and cuddly features.

Lila sat back down on the couch and crossed her arms and legs. “What do you say? Want to try it out for me?” she asked again, giving him an innocent smile. Sol looked back down at the suit, gulping nervously as he looked at the cute puppy face of the outfit, while still pressing the fabric against his chest. The face had large adorable eyes, dark brown floppy ears, and a cute rounded snoot, looking like something from a Japanese mascot. Just being able to touch it was enough to calm him, but to be completely encompassed in its soft warmth, the thought was so tempting he almost felt guilty for wanting such a luxury. After a few moments of silence, Lila turned her head in the opposite direction. “I mean... you don’t have to wear it if you don’t want to.” she said grumbly. Sol quickly sprung his head back up. “No-no! I’ll do it.” He said sounding flustered. “I’m just... a bit nervous...” With that, Lila put on a mischievous grin while he wasn’t looking, only to look back at him with her expression replaced with a pleased smile.

“Perfect!” she said excitedly, getting out of her seat as she began nudging him to the other side of the room. “Over here and I’ll help you get it on.” Lila almost pushed Sol over in her excitement, awkwardly stumbling with the costume in hand as they walked away from the table. Once he was in place, the young man fumbled the costume around in his hands, but was unable to find any opening to crawl into. But then, Lila flirtatiously nudged up from behind him, causing him to blush as she moved her arms past his shoulders. She then grabbed the back of the costume and gently pulled the fabric in opposite directions, revealing a small, almost invisible seam on the back.

“Right here.” she said, gently pushing herself against his back with a playful grin. Gulping nervously, he tried his best to hide the bashful look on his face and took a look inside of the suit. Inside were multiple soft-looking pads, or cushions to be more Specific. Each one was bright pink and had a glossy sateen-like texture, like the inside of a really cushy sleeping bag. Plus the cushions were so puffy, they all squished up against one another like a pack of marshmallows, which is why the suit felt so soft from the outside. However, the cushions were so stuffed, he was unsure how he would fit inside of the suit. Out of curiosity, he pressed his hand he slid his hand inside of the costume.

Sol inhaled softly as he reached into the sleeve, feeling the soft cushions squeeze around his arm. Not only was the interior padding smooth, but so soft it felt like the suit was hugging his arm. He didn’t have much bedding in his home, so for him, it felt like he was staring into a full body pillow. Lowering the suit, his heart pounded with anticipation as he was about to step inside, only to stop when Lila whispered into his ear. “Not so fast...” she said softly. Sol bit his lip, trying not to blush as her chest squeezed against his back. Lila just smirked to herself as he saw the flustered look on his face. It had been so long since they had been together like this, it felt nostalgic to be able to tease him again. “Aren’t you forgetting something?” she followed up, tugging at the collar of his shirt.

Sol just paused for a few moments, puzzled as he looked down at himself, but he soon realized what she was referring to. Once again, the young man blushed as he looked over to his friend. “My clothes?” he asked in surprise. Lila giggled again, moving off of his back as Sol turned towards her. The young woman then pointed at his shirt, and then down to his pants. “Off.” she said. Sol became silent, nearly dropping the suit as his heart began beating faster. “Wha?” he gaped. “W-why do I have to take off my clothes?” Lila just shook her finger at him, almost tauntingly with her grin now smug. “Why would you need to wear clothes while wearing a suit?” she asked. “Besides, it's not like you have to take off your underwear or anything.”

Again lost for words, he shrugged his shoulders and looked back down at the suit, his eyes drawn to the comfy looking padding on the inside as he began to calm down. Normally if a woman had asked him to do something so strange, he would have had a panic attack. But he felt surprisingly calm despite his nervousness, able to take deep breaths has butterflies continued fluttering in his stomach. Strangely, he began feeling that way ever since he had finished up that tea earlier. Lila then leaned forward and pointed to the suit while wiggling her finger. “Trust me, it’ll feel a lot better when you don’t have clothes in the way.”

Lila then began to scoot back into the kitchen. “You’ll need help zipping it up, so let me know when you’re finished.” she winked at him before disappearing into the other room, leaving her friend alone with the open comfy suit. With a nervous gulp, he looked into the suit, its soft comfy-looking padding remaining wide open as if welcoming him inside. Deciding to take her advice, Sol set the costume down on the floor and took off his shirt and pants. Then with a deep breath, he took the costume back in his hands and set his right foot inside. “Mmm...” let out a soft compulsive bone as his foot sank into the padded interior, the pillows squeezing and slipping up his leg as it stepping into a pillow.
