Narla was just walking out back to her pool one day, adjusting her latex swim cap as she tucked  her short purple hair in. With a smile, she confidently stretched out her arms, letting out of happy sigh as she felt the warm sunlight on her tan skin and comfy black one-piece bathing suit. Once she was finishing stretching, she reached done her and readjusted the spandex covering her rear. Narla’s swimsuit had a modest design, made of soft shiny Lycra and covering most of her back, she loved the way it was so snug around her body. Placing her hands on her hips, the young woman took a minute to appreciate how clean her pool was after leaving her house for so long. Narla's work often get away from home for long periods of time, and for the first time in months, she had more than enough time to just kick back and relax.

But being the adrenaline junkie she was, Narla more than preferred to spend her downtime with something active. Looking up at the sunny cloudless sky, she took a deep breath and closed her eyes before belly flopping into her pool. Though slamming against the water, she barely left a splash as her slender body submerged into the pool, becoming motionless just to feel the cool water flow past her. It felt as if her body had become weightless, gently stroking her arms up and down, allowing her to float just a few feet above the bottom of the pool. With her eyes closed and her breath held, she began a dolphin kick as she quickly swam through the chlorinated water.

Laying her back against the poolside wall, Narla let her arms rest beside her against the Metal railing and looked back up at the summer sky with a satisfied giggle. It felt like it had been ages since she swam for fun, finally able to just sit back and enjoy the comfort of her luxurious home. “Breaking into warehouses and stealing corporate information is exciting in all, but at the end of the day, nothing beats this.” she said to herself with a smile. “I’m going to enjoy myself before my next job, I earned this.” Allowing herself float near the edge of the pool, she suddenly felt a large shadow move over her, briefly cutting off her warm sunlight. Looking upwards, she noticed something unusual, seeing what looked like a small private jet flying over her house and rather close at that.

Baffled, Narla looked up at the low-flying plane, the relaxed look on her face is vanishing as the roar of its engines echoed throughout the neighborhood. “Ugh… is that even legal?" she thought to herself, waiting patiently for the plane to pass. Soon the aircraft disappeared from her view past the trees of her next-door neighbor, the sound of its roaring engines fading. With a relaxed sigh, she released her hands from her ears, when she heard something splash into the water. Surprised, Narla pulled herself upright and looked to the center of her pool. At first she thought it might’ve been a pinecone or a duck, but instead, emerging from the splash was a small bulbous object with a transparent but shiny surface.

Speechless, Narla just stared at it from a distance, its glossy exterior nearly blinding her as the sunlight reflected off its smooth surface. It almost looks like a tiny balloon or a clear beachball, just gently bobbing on the pool like an inflatable toy. Cautious but curious, she floated towards the object to get a better look. Upon closer inspection, she noticed several strange nubs on the bottom of it spherical bulb. It looked like the ball had several little small inflatable thumbs, making it look like a tiny octopus of some kind. The young woman giggled at the thought, reminding her of cartoon character she liked when she was younger. Looking around, she began to wonder where the strange object had come from, as it seemed like someone had thrown it into her pool. Assuming it may have been from one of her neighbors kids, she chuckled to herself with a mischievous grin. “Finders keepers then.”

With that, she began dog paddling her way to the center of the pool where the object floated, looking at it with a smug grin as she would while on one of her heists. Narla may not have worked to get it, but it felt so thrilling knowing that she now had something that used to belong to someone else. Reaching her hand out of the water, she placed her hand on top of the bulbous orb and gave it a playful squeeze. The bulb felt extremely squishy, with the elasticity of jelly but with a slick rubbery texture, it even squeaked at her touch, as if she had just grabbed a balloon. The young woman  smirked with a little blush as the elastic material glided under her fingers. “You really are just a little rubber octopus aren’t you?” she giggled.  But then, a strange thought crossed her mind, realizing that  texture of the octopus felt strangely familiar. “Hmm... Where have I felt this kind of rubber before?” she asked herself.
