1990 Beauty Pageants (Patreon)

Let's go back 30 years ago. It was a new DECADE, a new step into the final states of 20th. Century. I was finishing my Secondary School (High School) in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and the Newspaper brought this article about Miss Universe candidates from South America, lovely ladies from Venezuela, Colombia, Mexico and my own country, Argentina.

My young impressed mind instantly knew what to do.

A WEIGHT GAINING contest. 15 days to EAT, EAT and EAT until the fattest lady wins. Of course by this time the whole pageants pack was updated to the 90 kilograms (198 lb) EACH as starting point before the binging.

The results are almost of a sci-fi B-movie because no one could add to him/herself between 45 to 60 lb in a couple of weeks... but ANYWAY!

PS: And I just found out that except Mexican pageant Marilé del Rosario, the rest of the names were MADE UP. Pageant from Argentina was the beautiful Paola de La Torre as this page states. Also a period photo attached, --wasn't she beautiful?.
