The AEW ladies exclusive SKETCHES (Patreon)

I oftenly get an invariable question about what graphic tablet I use, etc. The answer is I DON'T use one. Not that I don't want it, -damn, those things are rather expensive!- ...but the thing is I am also so accustomed to the old ways: make a SKETCH, then make a penciled drawing over it, then the inking process (I use 0.6 pointer permanent inkers), and THEN I scan the pieces.

Digital coloring and yadda-yadda comes next.

I wanted to share these SKETCHES of my last commission job upon the AEW ladies here, -Kris Statlander, Hikaru Shida, the referee Aubrey Edwards, Tay Conti and Anna Jay.

Check out the starting point and compare with the final results. The sketches are "the rough idea", something I do freely, leaving my pencil to flow with the currents. Sometimes I can't grasp the likeness of the subjects on this initial stage, but I correct it along the way, sometimes during the penciling or inking process, some other later, digitally.
