February Reflection & Moving into March

The end of the month is upon us! I was cutting it a bit closer than I'd usually like with that last batch of sketches - but it's done. I didn't draw any of the fancy illustration ideas I had, but as long as the work is still good and no one feels like they're being screwed, I can't complain.

As for March: I really want to commit to producing a fancy Easter illustration ahead of April. Dorimoge drew some fun crossover art a while back, and I'd like to follow up on it.

I think the recent slower, more relaxed weekly structure has been proving good for me. It is nice to have more free time, so I think I might try to fit exercise into my schedule again.

Looks like Female Links were a popular theme this month. I wonder if that'll keep on happening. Anyway, a few extra sketches have been tossed in an archive somewhere.

Game Development

I recently learned about a new tool for game development planning called codecks, a card-style planning tool similar to Trello. I've been using Trello so far, but I'm curious to see if this new style of presentation will be more enjoyable and make it easier to focus on work.

I've been in a decent workflow over the last few days, but I'm hitting a soft lull. I typically like to add new features to the game so that it's easy to see meaningful progress, but I'm hitting a point where I need to clean up some of the recently added features before adding more.

Closing...

I have been giving some thought to potential projects, both games and comics/image sets. Though I'm not yet ready to talk about any of it - I'd like more time to think about it. But I don't want to go too long without selling another product, so perhaps I should shoot for something in the upcoming months.

Don't forget to eat & sleep.

Glad to hear things have been better this month, especially given the month is the shortest one all year! Looking forward to what you got planned for the Easter pic, as well as your game and potentials for photo sets!

It's been a wonderful month of art.
