just a grill (Patreon)

I had plans to draw something else today, though I'm having a bit of back pain before working. I did some cleaning up earlier today, nothing drastic, but it helped.

When I started this drawing, I didn't really have anyone in mind. Somewhere in the middle of it, I figured it'd just be the Bodyslider Girl - though her hair seems significantly less sticky-uppy than usual. For a while, I was unsure of what her colours would be - still am a bit unsure. I originally envisioned a strong red sweater, as you can see in older sketches - though I felt it was too visually striking, and made itself the focus, when it shouldn't be. So I decided on a simple, darker colour scheme that'd recede more compared to vibrant red.

I'll probably mess with it further, but there's really no rush.
