While I don't wish to be an alarmist, and I clearly don't have the whole picture...

Recent on-goings behind the scenes suggest this platform is being uncool to its creators. There is going to be a policy livestream in a few days, suggesting guidelines were completely changed on us. However, even if they were not, members of staff have been incorrectly labeling creator content as infringing upon its guidelines and removing those creators from the platform without warning, completely destabilizing their financial standing during one of the most financially demanding times of the year.

Although I always endeavor to be understanding towards the platform, seeing this kind of thing happen several times across the years has grown tiring. My trust in this platform is almost entirely eroded due to their lack of transparency and their evidently exploitative behavior.

Given the general volatility of this situation, I need to consider that all forms of adult content will one day cease to be allowed on this platform - or that creators like me will eventually be banned.

In response to this phenomenon, I have:

  • Downloaded my audience CSV (email addresses), in case I need to contact you for any reason.
  • Begun looking into other subscription-based platforms for creators, although they may not offer the same quality experience as this, unfortunately.

If I am removed from the platform, I will have absolutely no financial security. Meaning I may need to fund my survival entirely on commissions for an indefinite period of time, thus changing the way I create and how you interact with my work during that time.

Don't forget to eat & sleep.

Other creators have expressed similar, related concerns. One has afterwards relaxed a bit after learning elsewhere that the platform was becoming hostile towards certain specific kinds of NSFW content which they didn’t produce, but that doesn’t clarify much, nor did they say whence had they found such information.

That's always been an option I've been mindful of, "this doesn't affect me so I'm okay," but my stuff DOES flirt the line, especially with mind control (they previously purged creators that produced that stuff in the past), due to dubious consent. But unfortunately, I do think the risk has grown exceptionally large lately. Artists are being mislabeled, treated as if they're violating those terms even now. I just saw a case where someone producing giantess, vore, and transformation being banned for promoting sexual violence. Apparently petplay even glorifies bestiality. Adult Diaper play has been accused of being even worse... Absolutely none of this is true, so the fact that this mislabeling is occurring so heavily worries me about the extended field of NSFW content. Who's next on the chopping block, I wonder? It's also worth noting that the service has been banning these creators and making absolutely no public statements about it.
