[Blog] End of July (Patreon)

Exhaustion:

Tired and overwhelmed; feelings which have been clearly present for several months now. I'm not really sure what I'm doing. It feels a bit like I'm wasting my time and getting trapped in routines.

It's possible I'll run out of my savings in 8 months or so, so that's not pressure I appreciate.

Concept Art Reward:

I didn't post one this month. Technically, a few illustrations shared in July's Sketch Collection were intended as concept art, but I was so excited to share it with everyone, that it wasn't held behind the Concept Art reward.

But this is the third month in a row we didn't have much in the way of Concept Art, so I should probably consider providing some extra type of value should this ever happen again. I've talked about how tiring it can be to force out concept art every month rather than having something of creative value to naturally share a while back, so I guess that's just happening again.

Need to do Better:

With the quickly changing social media environment, I really need to start funneling more people to my Patreon and creating content people actually care about. I need to do commissions again. It's rough because I only have so much time and energy to spend across all my work these days.

Don't forget to eat & sleep.
