Feeling a bit unwell, so progress has slowed. But here's some updates:
Rat Replacement - Crawler
Although I previously showcased the spaghetti eyeball monster, I was never happy with the design. So I've replaced it; this time with another zombie - only missing a lower half, forcing her to crawl along the ground.
New Enemy - Projectile Arc Thrower
Speaking of enemies, I've added a new one to the engine. This monster throws a projectile in an arc - not too difficult to dodge, but may be tricky when the player has to multi-task. He will even turn to face the player's direction after attacking.
I'll have to come up with an original design for this monster, but I also want to add more complexity to his movement to make him a little less predictable.
Water Splashes
I've also implemented some special effects when interacting with water to add a bit more life & feedback with the environment. When the player enters water, they'll move at a slower rate. It's a unique part of out design kit, so having some fancy visuals is nice.
Don't forget to eat & sleep.
