Sketches    |    Dropbox     |    Concept Art

Thank you for your patience during April. I had to visit the hospital briefly in March, so I've been trying to be extra cautious with my health lately - especially now that I am taking the extra stress & work load of commissions. Speaking of which, I need to open commissions again this week - that's going to be a trend from now on.

That said... I feel like, as commissions take more focus, I'll have to increase the value of the other work I produce - even if it's just emotional value. I guess this month was alright, but I'm particularly worried about the fact that most of my work just isn't very important.

Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is releasing May 12th, and let's be perfectly honest... It's going to distract me. So, I'd like to rush through May's commissions in a week or so in order to have more time to relax with the game. With the game on the horizon, however, I wonder if that means I'll end up drawing more Female Links?

Plans for May:

I plan to develop the recent concept art further. The vampire design still feels a bit plain, and I still need a few more designs. If I can, I might like to stretch it across the month and upload a little bit at a time - like the Collection Posts.

After getting back into Game Dev, I don't want to break that flow again. Especially with how close we could be to a proper alpha test demo... But because this type of work can take so much time, I probably can't focus on it without my illustration work quantity suffering, and I don't imagine many of you would like that. So, I'll try to just do 1 or 2 steps at a time. In May, perhaps I'll try to create one new enemy type and finally program the enemy spawner? In addition to general clean up.

Don't forget to eat & sleep.

To be fair, I imagine TotK is going to distract a lot of people.

More Female Link would be very acceptable.
